TRUMP RALLY ON RESTARANT AND BAR TV’s WITH VOLUME UP- We went out for a Saturday night dinner and this has been one of our favorite places. We were taken about when we approached the hostess. The restaurant TV’s were broadcasting a Trump rally with the volume up. One tv had football game on low volume. We asked if we could be seated away from the rally. They seated us outdoors on the back patio. At first we were the only table… within half an hour there were 6-8 tables of folks. They kept the rally on for two hours and then switched to a game. We enjoyed our patio dinner very much, but were disappointed that it was the only area to sit and not hear it.

This was our second visit to this location. The first time we had lobster as they were promoting their lobsters for the month. The service back then was good as food came out as we ordered and promptly. Ambience and noise level was as expected and very pleasant. we were told they were closing for the next month because they were doing some changes and we said we would come back after they reopened. In September they reopened and we took a friend for a birthday dinner. When we arrived, we went up to the hostess stand with four hostesses standing there and not one of them greeted us or said hello. So we walked up to them and said hello and we had a reservation. There was still no warm greeting, after shuffling around between the few of them that were up there we were taken to a table. None of them said enjoy your meal and left. We were greeted by a busboy who brought us waters and was very pleasant. We asked him to please wipe off the bench on the other side of the booth as it had food and crumbs all over it, he quickly wiped it down for us. Again, this is something that was seen easily, and none of it was mentioned by the hostess, who really should’ve addressed that before leaving us. When our actual food server came by, she did not tell us about any of the specials but we went ahead and made our order. We found it disappointing that when we ordered the potato skins as an appetizer that it literally had two potato skins. This would’ve been a very easy upsell for the server since our party of three could easily have shared two orders. When we placed our order, it took approximately 40 minutes to receive our food, much longer than it should’ve as none of our entrées were complex or special ordered. The food had a good flavor, but was not anything out of the ordinary. Also, out of the three sinks in the ladies room only one was working. When it was reported to the hostess desk, their reply was, yes the sinks can be temperamental. That is unacceptable in a restaurant.

We celebrated an 18th birthday, for our daughter and it was the highlight of our trip. Charlie was delightful, showing us the property and providing our daughter with an extra special night. Thank you.

Gorgeous place and very attentive staff. Food was fairly mediocre. I would go back for drinks and to sit at the bar.

Such a great meal and service by Ernesto was superb! We enjoyed the BBQ brisket, it was melt in your mouth delicious!! Cocktails were excellent!! Happy Hour has a great menu also. We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Jackalope Ranch!! We will return soon!!

Underrated Best overall food and pricing. Western themed but higher quality. Huge TV for sports and bar is exceptional.

Another excellent evening at Jackalope! We enjoyed the food, the service, and football in the bar. The ribs were tender and the sauce superb, the tri-tip cooked to perfection. Even when the restaurant got busy, their level of service stayed high. Definitely a go to local place for us!
