Waited 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. $78 wagyu steak looked like something you’d find at Sizzler. Salad was ordered with chicken but was served without it. By the time waiter came to check on table and then retrieve chicken, meal was just about over. Disappointing experience.

We had ribs. As always they were great. We had hoped for Maine Lobsters which we had over the summer. Those 2 pounders were great and I guess we will have to wait for the next time they are available. But overall, Jackalop is one of the very best restaurants Indio and we hope that continues.

We enjoyed our food, though the portions were smaller than would be expected for the price. Service was friendly but slow. Great ambiance and setting on the back patio and a good band playing enhanced experience. We’ll be back.

It was our first time dining there. Food was delicious, live music lent to a fun atmosphere and the service was great. Will be back for sure.

Jacklope Ranch has a lot going for it. The setting is stunning, with a variety of seating from bring comfortable and cozy, outside on the yard, or in the thick of things in the bar. Our server was excellent, friendly, and attentive. Some menu items are outstanding-- like the rib eye steak, the nachos, burger, fries, calamari, chili, and the meat platter (to share). Other choices just need to be elevated, or eliminated. The "grilled cauliflower" is blah, the lobster roll completely wrong, the beef sliders overcooked. This restaurant would be 5-star if they'd improve the menu.

I love the ambiance, what a beautiful location. The Rib Eye stake is the best in town, absolutely delicious! The Meatloaf is also a great choice as well as the Pulled Pork. One of our favorite places to go.

Our waitress was great! The food, not so much. The BBQ sauce has a VERY strong vinegar flavor that tastes terrible. The fish and chips were a bit soggy, but ok/tolerable.

I cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant! Our server, Antonia, was the best! She had recommendations that were spot on. She new the menu, and answered questions. The manager came by and said- ‘welcome, you were the first to order our special tonight on Christmas Eve!” The service from seating, thru the meal, to the end was absolutely wonderful. Thank you! Do make a point to have any meal here! Thank you again!!

DONT LISTEN TO ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS. The atmosphere is so clean and fun. Huge TV screen in the bar area for football. Service is outstanding. Food is better that comparable BBQ places like wood ranch or Lucille’s. Steaks are top notch. Highly recommend the short rib. Amazing deserts. Try it you won’t be disappointed.
