I’m reviewing a second trip to Jack Rabbit. The first everything was expected - food was hot and tasty, bar food but much better than most bars. Left me looking forward to visiting again. Today, we tried brunch. It was jammed when we arrived, which was a good sign! But our food took about 35 minutes to show up. My partners food was fine, but mine was cold. I ordered avocado toast, so I could excuse the cold toast, but the eggs on top were also cold. We ordered a second round of drinks when the food was served because we’d finished the first round before the food arrived. Unfortunately, the second round didn’t arrive until after we ate. I’d blame the busy atmosphere, but by the time we ate the crowd had substantially died out. Not sure what was going on, but the bill + tip was $100. I was disappointed and left feeling like this was a bad value. I hope my experience today was an outlier and not the typical experience.

Easy from the hostess stand to the table. Waitress was a bit preoccupied but did provide good service. The drink menu has a few very good cocktails and a great mocktail, beers and wines. The menu is deep and plentiful with something for everyone. I would highly recommend the Brussel sprouts as a side. Overall the food was great.

Jack Rabbit is noisy, busy, raucous fun. It is geared to a younger crowd than mine but is enjoyable for everyone with a taste for live music, a wide variety of menu items made from scratch, and crowd watching! Patio seating, lively bar, intimate seating in the basement or “parlor “ etc. and eclectic decor. Cozy sofas, baby grand piano mixed in with small tables and even a few private areas meant for small groups like birthdays or bachelorette parties. No uniformed staff, everyone is casual and comfortable so you don’t have to worry about showing up in your favorite old jeans etc. Full bar and music nightly… Good times!

Our server was so polite and friendly. We enjoyed the patio. The food was excellent and we did not feel rushed to leave. Fabulous brunch ! Will be back

I would not return. Service was a little slow but fine, but we were seated in the basement and there was a strong musty smell that ruined our experience. I do not have a strong sense of smell and it was almost making me gag. They need to take care of their dampness issues before considering seating parties in the basement.
