Jack Fry's serves up southern fare in a setting that's been a part of Louisville, Kentucky since around 1933. Visitors can step inside for lunch, dinner or cocktails, all to the soothing notes of live jazz. Once a hangout for local sports enthusiasts, Jack Fry's is now known for its fine dining and family-friendly atmosphere.

We had an excellent meal and great service! The cocktails & na beer was a great addition to our meal! The Brie salad was interesting! The cobbler With the biscuit top was exceptional!!

Our oysters and grits was a little bit cold. Great salads and service but the salmon main course was a mess. Over done and the nut crust was a mess.

We love Jack Fry’s but my two guests were not pleased with their food. The Walleye was very bland and the vegetables so hard as to be inedible. The salmon was very thick and just ok. My chicken was great. Maybe Sunday night is not the best time to go?

We wanted to dine on the exact date of our 40th anniversary, and thank goodness our night was Jack Fry’s reopening night after three years of no Sunday night dining. We were the first table—and Mike, our attentive server, let us know how big of a deal that was. Everything was amazing—from our artichoke and tomato tart app to our brie salad to our lamb chops to our three—no four—desserts counting Chef Duncan’s complimentary anniversary dessert. I am typing this from a food coma. We have had anniversary dinners at the Inn at BlackBerry Farm, in Hawaii, and in Charleston. This was our favorite by far. Thank you, Mike and Chef Duncan, for a lovely evening!

We had a fantastic anniversary dinner! We had the escargot appetizer, beef filet and pork chop. For dessert we shared the olive oil cake. All were outstanding! Definitely 5 star meals and service. Can’t wait to go back again!

Service started great, appetizers and drinks were good. Kitchen did not bring salads at all. Dinner took forever to get, only one of 3 dishes was hot. Server had a lot of tables and did not check on us.

Service was top notch! Staff has knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Food was cooked wonderfully and very tasty! It did get very loud when the restaurant was full but nothing unbearable. Absolutely loved our experience and will be back!
