Set in a historic 19th-century Victorian, once-turned-local hospital. Now a vibrantly restored dining atmosphere, a wonderfully appointed Bed and Breakfast.

The Kirby Hotel & J. Paul's Dining Room features a fresh, bright menu with something for everyone's taste and price point. Carefully crafted cocktails, an array of award-winning wines, and a culinarily modern, yet classical take on food await your evening. Given multiple awards for its outstanding dining and service.

The staff and Chef LaBelle give a friendly and personable approach to your dining experience. Fresh Locally sourced products are used at their prime. The Prime-aged Prime Rib and Duck dishes are signatures, there are always fresh fish and seafood options as well as vegan and vegetarian options. We cater to all dietary needs.

In the summertime, we offer outdoor seating on our wrap-around porch or our beautifully landscaped back deck overlooking a large pond with a fountain with often-seen wildlife

Our Dining Room can fit up to 40 people and our large back deck can seat over 100. For a small, semi-private event, we can partition off part of our dining room for up to 20 people. Wonderful find! Great server-excellent cocktails, and dinner was perfect. Recommend both the scallops and duck. Each were cooked perfectly! We couldn’t sit outside as it was full, but enjoyed the front room seating. Just a lovely relaxing evening!

It was our first time at J Paul's. The food and service were excellent, and we will definitely be returning. The clams, prime rib, and sea scallops were a big hit—delicious!

Food was excellent but the service was rather slow. Our server seemed to be overwhelmed between tables and handling the bar. Also, they seemed to be more interested in their friends and the regulars. But it was a beautiful old home with lots of character!

We always enjoy our time at the lovely Kirby and Chef Chris’s crafted chow~the shrimp cocktail, salad and lamb were absolutely delicious and we have resos next month , looking forward!!

Great place, great drinks selection, appetizers were delicious along with our main entree. Waiter was excellent with excellent service. Everything was outstanding…..can’t wait to go back!!!!
