J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Bleu potato chips & Chocolate Velvet Cake. The cozy atmosphere includes fire side dining, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy a quiet table or host a large party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. J. Gilbert's is open for dinner 7 days a week. Reservations are recommended.

    J. Gilbert’s was a great atmosphere with special detail to our request for a table with someone with hearing aids to be able to engage and not have too much competing noise. We had a fabulous evening of conversation and enjoyed the tasty food cooked perfectly. It was a great evening for us as we celebrated our anniversaries.

    Great food great service. Server gave us a free dessert. Must have been a misorder at other table. Love this environment.

    We save J Gilberts for special occasion dinners and they never let us down. Service, quality, and atmosphere all contribute to making it that one-of-a-kind restaurant.

    Holly and the entire team at the bar are amazing. They take the time to chat with you and just provide a nice time. Love that they wear matching shirts for the baseball series. Makes it feel like family!

    One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The blue cheese potato chips are something I’ll crave. And the creamed corn with bacon was divine. Excellent service too. Just a great meal.

    The food is definitely not worth the price. Our steak was under cooked & our sides were incorrect. The desserts were not flavorful & seemed to have been cooked earlier & stored in the refrigerators. We had to flag down the waitress for refills etc. I do not recommend, especially for the price.

    The filet mignon was incredible! I got the Cajun pan seared with lobster Mac and Cheese and green beans with pecans. Delicious! If we ever come back to Omaha we will definitely revisit this wonderful restaurant.We were definitely not disappointed!Mwah!💋

    Steak was good and well cooked. Salmon as well. Nothing particularly stands out as special here. Had the "asparagus-potato hash" side, and was nothing more than chopped up asparagus and undercooked salted potato tossed together. "Hash" seemed like a misnomer.
