I've eaten at J. Betski's many times and keep coming back. This guy can cook! There may be other chefs in town getting 'press' and accolades for their new sexy 'concepts', while this restaurant quietly simply serves up the BEST food. I like the ordering via app service they do. I believe it speeds up getting drinks, food, desserts as you want them. You're not waiting around for a server to see you needing something. This doesn't mean their staff aren't attentive and approachable. Food and drinks come out faster, i think. It's just a great vibe, great staff, great food, great Raleigh gem. I'll keep going back.

Horrible absolutely ZERO customer service and food was mediocre at best. If I wanted self service I would have gone to a chain fast food place. UODATE - We did ask for “Service” and was told by more than one employee “we do not offer and YOU WILL LOVE” using the APP”. NOT!!

The food was good, but not great. I found the app based ordering system annoying. I spent more time punching orders into my phone than I did enjoying my meal. Most aggravating was placing drink orders. There is no option to reorder, so when I wanted a second cocktail, I had to scroll all the way down the menu and pick all the options again. It would have been so much easier to have a human server simply ask if I wanted another. Enough with automating everything, please.

Sadly, this Restaurant was forced to leave a beautiful location. The new location is not in line with the type of food served. I hope the owners can find another more "upscale" building to create the atmosphere their incredible dishes deserve.

We keep coming back for more! It’s always delicious here. The special Lobster and Avocado salad was amazing! Don’t miss out on their pierogies, either! Soooo good!!
