J&C Oyster is a seafood driven concept with a fusion of Asian ingredients and techniques. The visionary team behind the acclaimed Oaxaka, invites guests to indulge in an exciting unique addition to the South Florida dining scene.

Led by Chef Raheem Sealey, renowned for his culinary prowess at KYU, Zuma and Drinking Pig BBQ in Miami, and acclaimed Chef Monika Dominguez, celebrated for her culinary contributions to Zuma, KYU, Chug’s Diner, and Dale Street Food, J&C Oyster promises an unforgettable dining experience.

The 2,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor space is a testament to exquisite design, adorned in a palette of serene blue and crisp white, accented by opulent gold touches. I recently had the pleasure of dining at J&C Oyster to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and stylish decor set the stage for a fantastic evening. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations and ensuring that our glasses were never empty.

Nice new restaurant. Happy to find a place that serves a good selection of East Coast oysters that were fantastic ! All dishes were delicious and well prepared. Crispy Chicken, Tender Oxtail and Perfect Mussels ! The Cornbread dessert is awesome and a must -try. Looking forward to going back. The wine list is somewhat limited but decent.

Oysters and Hamachi were EXCELLENT! Server was lovely and attentive. Wine pour (5 oz) needs more thought as well as wine list prices and selection. Next time we go we'll sit at the bar for Happy Hour Wed-Sun 5-7 pm. Half price oysters!

Second visit; just as great as the first. This time tried the snapper ceviche which was close your eyes delicious and a beautiful presentation, with tiny white flowers on top. The fried chicken was beyond. I normally cut away some of the fried skin, but I ate every single bit of it; outstanding in every way. This is the best fried chicken I've had in Miami hands down. The mussels were wonderful. Excellent music, service, hostess. What food!

I wish there were more than 5 stars. I recommend this place highly. The ambience is relaxed but nice, the staff could not be more accommodating and on point, especially Daisy! The food, I can’t begin to describe only to say that they are way more than Oysters. We had so many of the dishes, 8 to be exact and each one outplayed the last. The crab curry and the oxtail were really close but the dessert was a great final dish, a s’mores delight, I don’t even like smores!!

Finally, a fantastic restaurant in Downtown Hollywood, brought to us by the founders of Oaxaka. Phenomenal dishes including ox tail, perfect oysters, ceviche, and lots more. Every dish was flavorful and delightful. Full bar. Great service by Hannah. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazingly consistent great food and service. A real gem in Downtown Hollywood. Make sure to try the Oxtail!

We made a reservation for bar seating as we had heard the happy hour only applies there. The hostess confirmed our reservation & told us we were could sit anywhere at the bar. We saw a reserved sign for two & another for 3 so we assumed that was our seats as she didn’t walk us over. Cocktails & food excellent !! We tried the shrimp cocktail roasted oyster fish dip lobster roll & fried chicken. The bartender overheard it was my birthday & sent over the chocolate smore type dessert very good. Another hostess came over & asked us to slide down as she had to seat a “reservation next to us” we agreed but also commented we held a reservation as well. For our flexibility she bought us a round of drinks. Which was the right thing to do. We will be back overall great experience.
