I'm talking top-notch quality fish here – like, seriously amazing. Every single piece of sushi is just bursting with flavor, and the fish practically melts in your mouth. I started with beautifully presented sashimi which felt like eating an Omakase course meal. The sushi rice was incredibly soft and the sushi melted in my mouth and grilled sea bass, pork belly, and chicken yakitori were delicious accompaniments to the sake. I ended the meal with a cheesecake dessert. Overall, it was great $55 Omakase experience. The menu features a variety of Japanese Izakaya dishes and atmosphere is moderated casual and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable Japanese meal in LA.

A quick stop as our favorite spot for sushi in this area is closed Sunday and Monday - sushi was ok but anyone who says this is the “best sushi ever” has not yet had great sushi. Service is efficient, cost is reasonable, and menu is extensive. Stick to sushi - cooked items (gyoza and yellowtail collar) were deep fried and massively overcooked.

Food took long and wasn’t the best quality. The place was tiny and stuffy so we chose outside which was not great. Overall, it wasn’t somewhere I would consider again.
