We had an exceptional experience at Izakaya 855 thanks to the excellent staff and GM, Matteo. We will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends and family.

Great service! The server kept apologizing for the food taking long to come out but it came out very quickly. He was always making sure we were doing well. The food was very tasty. My friend and I will definitely go back!

Amazing!! The food, the service and the ambiance really played the part. Their special of Hamachi is great. The price is honestly not bad at all for how nice it is, highly recommend!!!

Food was fine, and the service was great, but the music was way too loud! They were BLASTING rap, some top 40 pop to David Bowie. Prob my fault for not checking that they had a DJ, but sadly, won’t be going back.

We were very happy to find this new Izakaya style spot in the heart of Waikiki. We tried several dishes and would order each one again. Service was engaging and professional. We're local and typically avoid Waikiki due to parking yet this spot has free valet parking which is another reason we'll be back again and again. Highly recommended for date night or a night out with friends and family.

Located in trendy adults only hotel in Waikiki off the beaten path off the main drags in that neighborhood. Has the potential to be a great date spot, but the venue is more like bar/nightclub and the music, although good, is VERY LOUD. In fact, I could barely hear what my wife was saying next to me. Food was interesting and eclectic, but pedestrian when it comes to an Izakaya model. Hopefully they continue to refine this spot and effort. People are nice there but the kitchen and ambiance needs work.

Yakisoba and Scallops were great. Others were disappointing, especially the steak. The portion was extremely small, it came out basically rare and they dumped this very sweet sticky teriyaki sauce that completely drowned it. Tempura tasted premade and not fresh.

The food was great and ambiance is great. Free valet for 3 hours is also a plus. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t have asked for a better night. The food and service were beyond perfect. I would rate this as a very special experience. Delicious!!
