Serving upscale Oaxaca and Regional Mexican Cuisine with a twist; along with imported artisanal mezcal and tequila handpicked from various regions of Mexico. IXTA Cocina Mexicana + Mezcal Bar located in Manhattan’s lower east side (LES) on Bowery.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of New York City and step into the jungle of our enchanted Tulum themed Mexican Restaurant. Combining savory housemade Oaxacan moles and freshly sourced Mexican cuisine created by executive chef Francisco Blanco.

Our handcrafted cocktails are artfully created from the finest selection of local and imported liquor, including different selections of mezcal, tequila, and rum—including some specialized IPA and wines from Mexico. All our specialty cocktails are alchemized with exotic herbs and spices, and seasonal fruits.

Well designed spot and nice ambience but the chicken was dry, octopus was tough, and drinks were sugared up. Service was well intentioned

Food wasn’t great outside of the guac and salsas. The margaritas were good at least!

Food was not great but was good. Civichie was much too salty and wish the fish taco could have been grilled vs battered/fried but overall the rest of the food was nice. Nice interior, large seating and nice staff.

The levels of flavors each dish contains is BEYOND!! Service and ambiance top shelf!! The fire show was amazing and an absolute pleasure to watch!! Mezcal and the spicy margaritas are delish!!

Tuna tostada was not a tostada. Very weird. It was tuna and avocado crema with no tortilla. Missing the crunch. The fish taco was amazing.
