Was in town on business and enjoyed a fantastic meal with friends. Madison was our server, she was fantastic. Great braised short ribs & a superb Old Fashioned. Started with the crab dip and the bacon; all excellent. Friends had the shrimp & grits as the lambchops; each raved about them. Piano & saxophone pair played some great music at acceptable levels that didn’t take away from dinner conversation. Can’t wait to come back!

I brought my friend for her birthday! It was her first time! The food was incredible as usual and the atmosphere was awesome! Our service was not that great, which is very unusual! We waited 25 min for our server to ask us if we wanted dessert. I didn’t even notice she had placed the dessert menu on our table. Also, she put our food in the to go containers on our table. If the policy has changed, then ok. It was very awkward! We didn’t let it upset us! It was wonderful as always to see and hear Susan Marshall! One of my favorite places!

Had a very dining experience with my wife. Service was great as was the food. The entertainment was very good the only thing of concern was the noise level from BB King below.

Very disappointed with our experience, very small portions, poor value for the money spent. I ordered a bowl of the she crab soup and it’s the smallest bowl I have ever seen. The same with the sides, they are not family size. The lamb chops are more bone than meat. I ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing and it said It came with cherry tomatoes and carrots. There were four cherry tomatoes cut in half placed around the lettuce and the carrots were shaved about half an ounce on top looked like a hairpiece. Nothing impressive about the meal except the bill.

I can’t say enough about Itta Bena. The atmosphere, the drinks and food, the wait staff are all amazing. Anyone making a trip to Memphis…this is a must see restaurant. It can’t be beat.
