Went for our 11th Anniversary with a group of friends. We may have been the loud ones laughing. The interior was very nice but comfortable - not stuffy at all. Our waiter Gabe was excellent, steering everyone to their own perfect dish. The wine was superb - a nice Barbera d’Asti. The owner came over and spent quite a bit of time with our table - you can truly tell this is his passion. Take the time to go south on Lamar and spend a wonderful evening indulging yourself.

The staff is so friendly and service fantastic. Our meal was delicious. I can’t say enough praise for the restaurant.

Nice, local Italian style restaurant on South Lamar. Good food, nice service, comfortable atmosphere. Parking can be a small challenge - as of most of Austin seems to be today. Otherwise, recommended.

What a beautiful discovery! From our dishes to our service, everything was perfect. Espresso Martini was top notch, and my friend (a world traveler) said her pumpkin ravioli with lobster was the best ravioli she’s ever had. Our hostess/server was delightful, too. Can’t wait to go back!

Both the food and service is excellent! The veal piccata is the best I have ever eaten. And Al always makes you feel welcome.

This was our first time dining here, we had a party of 5 and sat outside on the patio. We tried a variety of dishes from the menu, focaccia bread, arrancini, white bean soup, branzino, chicken piccata, affogato, gelato, chocolate cake. Everything was very fresh & delicious! The cocktails were made to perfection as well. Highly recommend this quaint place and can’t wait to return soon.
