ItalX, an avant-garde Italian restaurant, is now open for weekend lunch and dinner six days a week at City Center. The restaurant is located at 160 West Main Street. The team draws inspiration from Italy's emphasis on simple, fresh, quality ingredients and inspired hospitality in a warm and inviting space. A twist on traditional Italian fare, the menu will feature multiple scratch-made pastas, reimagined small plates, vegetarian and gluten-free offerings, and everyone's favorite desserts. Popular Italian dishes will be reinvented with elegant presentation. ItalX's bar program offers extensive Italian wines from all regions of 'the Boot' and an inventive cocktail list, backed by house-made ingredients and Italian liqueurs.

Food and service were good but offset by noise level. The noisiest experience I’ve ever had to deal with while trying to enjoy supper. Mostly street noise with being open to busy downtown traffic and cars and motorcycles racing engines.

It was just average food with bad service. Our waiter was never there. The runner was absolutely miserable. Carbonara was tasty but watery. One of our party only ate two bites of the Picatta, the waiter didn’t even ask why. I would give it another try maybe last night was just an off night.

One of the best Caesar salads in Lexington-nice and peppery! Love the chicken piccata.

Vibe of the place was AMAZING. Very fun little spot with amazing staff! Drinks were good (little overpriced for the little booze in them). Food was underwhelming. Definitely would never crave the food, but rather just go if someone asked me.

Food is great. I ordered caprese, which the cheese didn’t have strong smell. It was really delicious!

I had never been to an Italian restaurant that when you ordered a meal, I only got the lasagna no bread no salad, nothing. It was very loud in the restaurant. Our waiter was great. Not a good experience.

While the food was quite good the management needs to invest some time in training the servers. Our server asked what type of bourbon we wanted and then had no clue what they actually served. Took 20 mins to get our drink - our appetizer came in 5 mins. Did not seem to have any idea how to time the courses. Never cleared the table between the courses, had to flag down multiple times just to get some water.
