Italica is a unique, intimate hidden bar/restaurant with outstanding Italian cuisine. Our dishes are served tapas style and are meant to be combined and shared with others in your party. We have several dishes on and off our menu that are vegetarian and vegan friendly. Enter through the silver door on Miles Avenue to the right of Indio Taphouse.

Due to our limited capacity, reservations are required for dinner service. However, we welcome walk-ins at the bar, based on availability, and encourage late-night walk-ins to join us when possible.

To ensure that all our guests can savor our exquisite offerings, we allocate a 90-minute dining time for all parties.

Please note that Italica is an adults-only establishment. We kindly ask that our guests be above the age of 18 and are dressed appropriately.

Great quaint dining atmosphere, perfect for a swanky date night. Food was delicious with great presentation. Drinks were delicious.

It's small, it's loud, it's lively, and it's a great place! The food is excellent and the bartenders are fun and responsive. Highly recommend the Pasta al Limone and the Ragu Bolognese with wild boar. This place is a great value for money in a unique setting.

Wonderful evening last night at Italica. We were graciously greeted by the owner and then served by his son, Dominic. Thank you Dominic for your outstanding service: from recommending my smoked cocktail called “Flower &Wood” to leading us through the food menu. Our table of three shared the Diffusione (grilled bread with three sauces), Polpette (three meatballs) and Beets & Goat Cheese (fried goat cheese and beets). My husband had the Spaghetti Puttanesca which was literally better than the one I make - that’s a tough standard as mine is pretty darn tasty. We also had the Caesar and the Milanese which were both tasty. We will definitely be back. Our 40 something year old children will soak up the cool vibe - especially the table smoked cocktails.

This was our 2nd visit and it was every bit as good as our 1st. My Milanese was cooked to perfection and my husband’s Rigatoni Bolognese was also delicious. Their wine pricing is also incredibly fair. As for the “noise level” a couple people mentioned. This is meant to be a vibrant, hip speakeasy vibe. The seating is cozy which adds to the fun of speaking with your neighboring diners and sharing the experience. It’s a fantastic addition to our Desert!

What a pleasant dining experience! From our greeting upon arrival, to being seated at reserved bar seating, until our requested table was available to the “choices” on the menu, wow! Family style creations available to share or just enjoy it to yourself, there truly is something for everyone! Prices very reasonable in comparing to other restaurants like in Palm Springs, the NEW Indio is off to a grand reimagining, starting with the fine dining experience at Italica. Offering a lighter selection of music, volume wise played is an option!

Loved the ambience, even though the restaurant is small it never felt crowded. The drinks were fantastic and the food was very good. You will definitely feel welcomed.

This is a newer restaurant in Indio, right next to Indio Taphouse. It's easy to miss, as the only entrance is a large silver door. But you won't want to miss it! This was our third visit, and its only gotten better each time. A small, intimate setting that is just beautifully designed, your immediately made to feel welcome. The drinks are impeccable, and the dishes we've had so far are all excellent. Their "side bread" is amazing, and we've also had their calabrese salad (so fresh!), Milanese (perfectly breaded), and Rigatoni Bolognese (so flavorful). We will definitely go back, and can't wait to take our out of town friends. A reservation is highly recommended, and don't be afraid to sit at the bar, it's a super fun experience!

What a great addition to Indio. Lovely upscale dining experience. Cozy ambiance , service was exceptional and our waiter Dominick was attentive and deliciously described the menu. The appetizers and cocktails had a unique twist from the norm. Entrees were better than average. I had the homemade Gnocchi very good and my husband had the yellow fin tuna over pasta. Definitely would recommend and we will definitely go back
