Italian by Night is an urban Italian restaurant and bar with a cuisine focused on old world techniques in a modern kitchen.

A romantic Italian restaurant in Uptown Saint John with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is a mix of rustic exposed brick and wood beams, as well as elegant touches like linen tablecloths, fresh flowers and candles on the tables.

The menu offers a wide variety of Italian dishes, ranging from classic favorites like pizza and pasta to more upscale options like seafood, steaks, and excellent wine list. We use fresh ingredients, with a focus on high-quality flavors and presentation.

We offer corporate and wedding buyouts in a gorgeous venue with ample seating and layout, excellent food, attentive service, and a memorable atmosphere that is perfect for any special occasion. A personalized menu and experience will reflect your unique tastes and preferences.

We offer a private dining room for smaller groups.

    We are happy to work with our clients for both small or large private events at Italian by NIght. We offer restaurant 'buy-out' packages as well as smaller group event menus. Our beautiful open space concept can host up to 183 guests in a stand-up cocktail reception format or 120 guests for a seated dining experience. Hosting corporate, wedding or family events is our expertise. We welcome all inquiries.

    A very pleasant evening with timely, informed and friendly service. The food was very flavourful and, just as important, was served piping hot. Very good communication between the kitchen and front staff. Tender lamb shank, super fresh seafood linguine, and the always decadent tiramisu.

    Food was really great, with a good size portions. Didn't have to wait a long time for our meals. The service was very good, Aiden was very helpful in deciding what we wanted and the staff was very attentive. Will definitely return again!

    We went on a date night and had a fantastic time. I had the sirloin special and my wife had the Roma pizza. I will be dreaming about that sirloin. Temp was 100% medium rare and the whole dish was prefect. My wife's pizza was phenomenal and the portion was really generous. You could definitely share the pizza between two. Michael B took great care of us. He was inviting and attentive. We also had whiskey sours and they were bright with a bit of warmth. Shout out to the back of house for putting out so much, so quickly and at such a high level.

    Best food in town. Never can go wrong with Italian by night for evening out or special occasion. Staff is very welcoming and food is so good.

    Always a good evening out for dinner. Had the lasagne which is delicious but regretfully it was burnt along the outer edges... presumably baked in a pan and the exterior edges got a bit burnt. Surprise it was served as such. Typically the food is good... also they sold us cocktails and dessert and delivered it saying they needed the table in 5 min...? Surprising... it felt rushed given the circumstances.

    Exceptional dinner with zero complaints. Scampi was perfect!!! followed by the Salmon which was again done to perfection... Could not miss desert even though stuffed, Crème Brûlée was to die for. Server made it all come together perfectly.... Highly recommend for any occasion or just because you deserve it!
