Italian by Night is an urban Italian restaurant and bar with a cuisine focused on old world techniques in a modern kitchen.

A romantic Italian restaurant in Uptown Saint John with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is a mix of rustic exposed brick and wood beams, as well as elegant touches like linen tablecloths, fresh flowers and candles on the tables.

The menu offers a wide variety of Italian dishes, ranging from classic favorites like pizza and pasta to more upscale options like seafood, steaks, and excellent wine list. We use fresh ingredients, with a focus on high-quality flavors and presentation.

We offer corporate and wedding buyouts in a gorgeous venue with ample seating and layout, excellent food, attentive service, and a memorable atmosphere that is perfect for any special occasion. A personalized menu and experience will reflect your unique tastes and preferences.

We offer a private dining room for smaller groups.

Our beautiful open space concept can host up to 183 guests in a stand-up cocktail reception format or 120 guests for a seated dining experience. Hosting corporate, wedding or family events is our expertise. We welcome all inquiries.

    Wonderful service, great pizza and pasta. The hot facecloth is a nice touch. We absolutely loved our waitress/server.

    All dishes were excellent except the carbonara did not resemble any carbonara I’ve ever had. Instead of a creamy sauce it was more of a broth liquid…. I don’t think this qualifies as a carbonara. Other then this, we loved our experience.

    Italian By Night is our go to spot! They are always welcoming and helpful with suggestions! They even helped us celebrate our special occasion with an added touch of champagne!

    Fantastic experience overall. The food was delicious and portions are generous. We both noted that while there are lots of tables (not crowded) you really don’t notice those around you very much. Would absolutely go back again.

    Elizabeth was fantastic, she had great recommendations for the food and drinks and even gave us some ideas of things to do after dinner. It was a great experience.
