This is a new restaurant in Bellevue, and i had been looking forward to our visit. From the time you walk in the door till the time you leave you know this place is special. Gorgeous set up beautiful interior and great seating booths. The concept new to this area is a Price Fixe which is all the courses are included. This restaurants serves an eight course meal with wine and cocktail pairings available. Our server team was lead by John and he had 3 others on his team. The courses all were incredibly prepared and presented. Sunday night was a little less busy so we were able to talk to each member of the team as dishes were prepared and presented. It was an awesome evening with incredible food and presentations. If you get the chance / opportunity to go please do. you will not be dissapointed.

Every dish was absolutely incredible! Each one was thoughtfully prepared with a really unique combination of flavors with gorgeous presentation. The staff are so personable and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Our server (Shawn) was amazing! We really enjoyed chatting with him while he prepared each cut, and everything was done to perfection. Generally speaking, I will say there were some very minor hiccups for a fine dining experience (likely growing pains from being so new) like having to repeat our cocktail order, and some of the pacing of the pairings with corresponding dishes. We also would’ve loved to hear details about the pairings such as tasting notes related to the dishes, or a bit about the vintners, but this wasn’t a huge deal to us. I’m sure they will fine-tune these things with time. We will absolutely be back again!

The tyranny of choices by going through a lengthy menu is gone. With the preset 8 course dinner, who would need a menu anyway? Great food and awesome service! Great experience! Thank you for all the hard work that went behind it.

Amazing food and well arranged courses. Servers are attentive and friendly. Great decor and look very upper scale! Well worth the price! Probably one of the best Japanese style barbecue in greater seattle area in terms of overall dining experience. Highly recommend!

We did the chef’s pre-set menu and added an extra a5 and a short rib course because they were so good. Yin explained about the meat he was cooking and why he was cooking it the way he was doing it. He sent back a piece that came out not quite to his standard which was really appreciated. He used it as a learning experience for us to show us the difference. Nikka was attentive and personable . Rafa greeted us in the door, and was super helpful as we were working through our wine/sake pairings. Great service, great experience. A5 was … A5 heaven! and the ambience was Japanese Modern (Sexy Zen) comfortable and tables were spaced nicely. Expect to pay $$$$ going into it and you will not be disappointed in the experience!

My wife and I had a great experience top to bottom. From the service, to the amazing food (we chose the chef’s option), to the ambiance. Marco, our chef / cook, did a fantastic job and was great to talk to at our table. We will definitely be back with our kids and friends!

The quality of the food, the presentation and overall taste of each dish was fantastic. I highly suggest the wine pairing. Each wine helps further enhance each course. John and his team did a wonderful job of guiding us through each course. The service was very impressive and we left very happy with the experience.

This place is definitely an experience. The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. The staff is still working out their kinks but they are so kind. I highly recommend getting the cocktail pairing. It went really well with the menu. Be sure to leave plenty of time to eat. Courses and drinks did come out slow.

Food and service are great, but portions are tiny. It was $150 for 8 courses without drinks and I felt like a needed to stop by Five Guys on the way home. Great for one time experience, but I wouldn’t go back.
