D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : This three time Hale 'Aina Award-winning spot, one of the rare Turkish restaurants in all of Hawaii, comes from mother and daughter duo Nili Yildirim and Ahu Hettema, who recreate foods from their homeland. Go for the meze platters that look like works of art filled with dips, phyllo pastries, and sourdough pide and pair it with larger plates of local seafood and lamb chops all served in a a rustic space filled with colorful tagines and hanging herbs.     The food was amazing! The dips are so delicious and the bread is fresh and matches well with the dips. My pirzola was so good and the rice paired was delicious. I have no notes for this restaurant. Please visit and eat!

    The food is always consistent for the past 3 times I’ve been there. The only concern on my last visit was the pirzola entree was a bit cold, we ordered 3 plates and they were all cold, the other entrees were fine.

    Excellent, 2nd time to have Istanbul Hawaii, just as good as first time. Will continue going back with friends

    Had the vegan sampler which was pretty good except for the spicy one…I can’t remember what it was called. The babaganoush and falafel were the standouts. Had the strawberry salad which was ok. Service was a little slow and they ran out of menus but the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

    Great place to have an authentic middle eastern experience. The flavor is exceptional, the staff are great! Went twice in 8 days vacation and planning on going the 3rd. Every thing we tried blew our mind , and that is coming from someone who grew up in the middle east.

    One of my favorite restaurants. The ambiance and food keep us coming back. Only 4 start last night because I decided to splurge and get the Tomahawk Steak. $165! The woman asked how I wanted it cooked and I decided medium rare. When it came, it came it was over cooked. The chefs said that due to the aging process the meat appears overcooked but it isn’t. I’ve had aged ribeye many times and never had that experience. Felt bad but for that price! I sent it back. Rest of meal was delicious!

    It’s been a while to visit here. Well, it’s good thing there are lots of choices but the menu is hard to read. Our server was very kind and nice. Food is always excellent and reminds me Turkish trip.

    It’s always a nice experience! They changed the menu but it was still delicious. Dinner took a little long (service wise) but it was well worth it.
