We reserved a table for 7:00 PM. Our table was not ready until 7:30 PM. The waitstaff was nice, but not very attentive. We had to ask for more water, utensils, etc. The menu is lovely, and so is the ambience. We ordered a favorite from coming here often over time, and the recipe had changed. It was okay, but other entrees were better. I do like how they decreased some of the prices. Flavors were great, and dessert is always a hit! My only complaints were wait times when we had a reservation, and inattentive/annoyed waitstaff.

It was our first time and Istanbul exceeded our expectations. Everything on the extensive menu looked fantastic and we wanted to try it all! Food, service, ambiance, and experience were all on point!

I love your food and ambiance and friendly waitstaff. Been eating here for years! Thank you. Just want to note that I have celiac and the chef mentioned that the fryer can denature gluten protein to make it safe - I’m a biologist and that’s not true or safe for your customers. Very pleased with the entire experience at Istanbul. When we looked over the menu we were a little overwhelmed. The waiter was extremely helpful and explained it thoroughly. The food was absolutely delicious. The lamb chops was outstanding. Dessert is a must! The hatay Kuefe was the star of the show!

We went on a Special Event day with a preset chef's tasting menu and wine pairings and it was absolutely the best. Going to this restaurant feels like stepping into another culture with the food and ambience. This is our favorite restaurant in Hawaii and we've been here several times and it never disappoints!

This was my 4th time dining at Istanbul. Always a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and I truly appreciate the severs knowledge of the menu. And the food was outstanding in flavor, aroma, and presentation. It's a dining experience like no other!

Everything was very good! Turkish coffee & pumpkin French toast and sausage were superb. Just a little surprised at how little meat came with the egg & shish plate given the price point. Very delicious, just wanted more than one skewer of meat with our mountainous plate of rice.

Istanbul is my new favorite restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious - tasty and savory! We sat at the bar and Angela, the bartender, was great! She was very attentive and helpful in explaining the different dishes. Her recommendations were spot-on! The drink Evil Eye was so good- nice balance of flavors. Looking forward to going back soon.
