    We love dining at Instanbul. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable and pleasant. Food is absolutely amazing - such unique flavours. Lovely meal thank you

    We had an amazing time at Istanbul Hawaii! The service, ambience and food were all outstanding! My husband and I had the ribeye shish, Zara’s frites, and off course the best dessert in the world: hatay kunefe!!!! Our server, Lenes, was very friendly and attentive, and once again we enjoyed our delicious and impeccable dinner at Istanbul Hawaii! Can’t wait to get back! The best restaurant in the island ❤️❤️❤️

    We haven’t eaten here in a few years , so good to see some new menu items like salad bowls with lamb or chix sticks.Unfortunately the lamb chunks were not as thick n juicy as in the past. The Ono fish was very good with fries.Vegetarian dish also good.But the Lamb was a disappointment especially as this is supposedly a middle eastern restaurant.They definitely need help in the service .We were told they were short staffed on bus help.That doesn’t explain why it took 25 minutes to get our appetizer plate which is all cold. We ordered it with veggies n a side of pita. We had to remind our waitress about the pita which showed up 10 minutes later. We also waited at end of meal for 3 expresso n 1 dessert 20 minutes,which took the waitress 3 trips for estevia spoons n then finally crème brûlée.The crowning touch though was the 1 inch rose flavored jell with a candle n birthday sign,that was finally brought when we were ready for the check.There were 4 of us..We have been to Greece n Turkey n those jelly’s are like their cheap jelly beans . They are inexpensive everywhere u can buy them even at Ross.Theyr tasty but there is no reason to send one to a table of four. I get that the restaurant doesn’t want to comp a menu desert for a special occasion like a birthday, but that was unacceptable. Our son spent $200.; n felt that this was not the Middle East we know.. No generosity in servings or service.

    Istanbul is UH-mazing! My family and I have been eating there for a few years and they never disappoint. Everything we order is delicious, full of flavor and like nothing we’ve ever had before. Istanbul is like Disneyland to me. The staff is always friendly. Drinks are great. No complaints, ever. Absolutely worth every penny!!!

    Normally Istanbul is very good but this last visit for lunch was very disappointing. I ordered the Shrimp Risotto dish and my wife ordered the Lamb Doner. My dish came out cold and the risotto was hard from sitting a while it seemed. My wife’s pita wrap was burned. The server asked if I wanted to return it to the kitchen for warm up but I didn’t think that would help at that point so I said no. In my opinion, it never should have left the kitchen if it was sitting that long. The restaurant was busy but our food took about 45 mins to come out so my guess is the risotto was done early and the kitchen forgot to make the wrap so it just sat there but I don’t know. I will go back to Istanbul again because it’s been so good in the past but hopefully this experience is not a trend, we’ll see.

    Good Honolulu restaurant week intro to other menu items we would not have ordered otherwise. Great service by our waiter and Turkish assistant who genuinely wanted to share his culture.

    Great food, wish I had time to go before the last day of my trip back to Florida. Flavors were unique and very enjoyable!!!
