We like coming to Istanbul Bay when we are in the mood for Middle Eastern food. The quality and selection are both very good, and the portions are very large. The waiters are always friendly and helpful. Yesterday our waiter, Mert, greeted us with a smile. He was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. He checked on us with every course served. The meal started with the Turkish bread (like a pita, but larger and thinner dought), fresh out of the over with a plate of green olives. It's a great way to start the meal. For appetizers, we split the Falafel platter. It had 6 balls of falafel served over hummus and a small salad. It was delicious and more than enough for two people to split. My wife had the Filet Mignon Kebab and I opted for Lamb Kebab. Both were cooked to the desired temperature. The meat was juicy and tender and each was accompanied by rice pilaf, a salad, a grilled tomato, and a grilled hot pepper. The portions were large. For dessert we split the almond pudding which was big enough for 3 people to share. The restaurant is BYOB.

The service is EXCELLENT ! Val usually serves us but everyone deserves credit ! Hot food and fresh ! Highly recommend

Delicious food, generous portions. However, noise level too loud for seniors and tables are crowded together. In spite of this we will go back as will the couple we came with who were first timers.

The food was very good, very flavorful, nice presentation and decent portion. Service was very good and attentive. We enjoyed MERT (Our Server) Atmosphere is OK I expected it to be more authentic looking FYI It is BYOB

Val and others were extremely attentive ! Food was delish and came out temperature hot ! We sat in the back room and were quite comfortable ! Highly recommend

My water cup had a lipstick stain which was disgusting. I didn't like the food and was way too cramped and noisey. Will never go back

Disappointed. Ordered salad with dressing on side. Came with dressing. Sent back and when the new one was brought out it was considerably smaller than the first. Shrimp Sauté was oily.
