Our first and last experience. Restaurant is located practically in the middle of a traffic intersection and parking lot. The acoustics inside are very poor but worse outside. Food is okay. Presentation poor. Service indifferent. Very disappointing.

The food was delicious but the service was SLOW. Went for a Birthday, never acknowledged it. One waiter for the entire outdoor patio! Never came around to see if we wanted another drink and he was clearly overwhelmed. If you want folks to return, hire more staff and acknowledge its a Birthday. We even mentioned it to him and he said nothing.

We had a lovely time, ate outside and enjoyed an evening downtown. Delicious seafood risotto and the pasta fagioli is my favorite. I had just been to this restaurant for lunch, earlier in the week. Ate a yummy salad with thinly sliced octopus in a light dressing of EVOO and lemon. Our server, Marcus, was attentive and most welcoming.

gnocchi and cioppino were excellent inside was pleasant until a really loud group of six came in. the outside tables are great in good weather.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and it won’t be our last. The food we had was just plain delicious and outstanding. My wife had the Bucatini Chi Finucchiede which is made with sardines, pine nuts, currents, onions, anchovies, saffron, Fennel and breadcrumbs. It was absolutely delicious and to die for. I had the Hawaiin Swordfish which was just as good without doubt. We also had a caprese salad and will have it again. Having read so much about noise inside we went early to eat, it was just fine. Good wine selection along with wonderful service made this visit purely enjoyable. If looking for authentic southern Italian fare this is the restaurant to visit.

Our first time here, we made a reservation and requested to sit outside. Nice space on the front and side of the restaurant with shade. Service was good, prompt even though we were outside. We started with the Fiore di Zucca which I love but I must say I have had even better ones; these were a bit thicker but still very tasty. The bread was just okay but the olive oil dip was AMAZING with lots of garlic, rosemary, tarragon & peppers. I had the Spiedini di Spada which has a light lemon butter sauce and spinach - very delish. The other dish was the meat lasagna special but was only so-so (I wanted to tell him to order something else). Dessert we split the chocolate cake which was like a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream & raspberry sauce - it was good. But then I saw the pistachio "cheesecake" which I pictured as a heavy NY style but it looked like thin cake layers with cream layer and pistachio cream layer. Next time. We will go back and try other dishes.

The swordfish Steak was tasted and seasoned and cooked perfectly. The lamb chops were delicious. The owner, Angelo, greets everyone and makes you feel you are dining in his home. We have been here at least 6 times and haven’t experienced anything but fantastic food.
