IOC is one of the very best restaurants in Southeast Virginia. Excellence in almost everything. Our only dislike was seating by the kitchen entry/exit.

Food was very good but not awesome. Side dish was quartered roasted potatoes: not as good as a good baked, mashed, or even french fried potato. Salads and Dressings were acceptable but probably hindered by off season produce. Atmosphere was incredible. Food is probably better preseason or during season at beginning of evening.

Hadn’t been here in years and so glad that we went back. The Caesar salad made table side was delicious as was the veal dishes we ordered. The lemon cake should not be overlooked and we will definitely be back!

Our favorite Italian restaurant. Food was superb as always. The server, Don, was very personable and attentive. Love the ambiance and having a table above the ocean and boardwalk is fabulous! Will be heading there again soon.

We always come around 5:30. The noise level is very low at 5;30. By the time we leave it is hard to have a conversation at the table. Have you thought of acoustic panels on the back walls? We live at Harbor’s Edge and they just put them up in the River Terrace Room. It has helped a lot.
