This was my second time dinng at teh isle of Capri and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing and the service is impeccable. I look forward to our next visit

Absolute best Caesar salad I have EVER had! A MUST TRY! The scampi I ordered was a little on the drier and under flavored side. The shrimp was delicious but I added a lot of Parmesan to it and it tasted really good! The red wine was delicious. We ordered calamari and shrimp lombardy. Both were fantastic and super delicious! Got cheesecake for dessert. Was good! Would absolutely return!

The noise level was due to the fire alarm going off and no one told us what to do or where to go. Staff just stood around. After a couple of minutes, I exited and found myself next to the dumpsters outside the building. When I came back inside and returned to the table after walking up six flights of stairs, there was no explanation of what happened and no concession regarding the meal. This was not a good evening. We won’t go back even though the food was delicious. This was an expensive meal with less than ideal ambience. We had anticipated this dining experience all day and ended up being very disappointed.

Great food, great service. Az was a wonderful server, alway had a smile on his face. It was enjoyable to glance at the ocean and beach goers while dining.

Always enjoy this restaurant. Views are spectacular. Food is consistently good. Staff is friendly and helpful with suggesting modifications for vegetarian diets. One of our go to places in Virginia Beach.

Food was great as always. Staff were very polite butvseemed short-handed. We we were sat next to a large group, with small children, who were allowed to run around and climb on/under the furniture. This lasted for about an hour.

Food was good but definitely better places for Italian in Virginia Beach. Waiter wasn’t that great. He provided good service but didn’t have a personality and wasn’t that outgoing. The food was good, not great, but again better Italian in the area for the same price. The best thing about this place was the view. Also, the waiter heavily implied that the chef wasn’t willing to swap out marinara sauce for a different sauce on the side of pasta, so he said no. I honestly thought the waiter was kidding around based on how he responded. Can honestly say that I’ve never had a small request like that denied before. Definitely rubbed me the wrong way for something that was a pretty small request. That was the only change requested, and it was on the side dish. To me, I honestly got the feeling that this place thought they were better than they really are. Maybe they were the best Italian food in the area and were “the fancy” place twenty or thirty years ago, but there are definitely better place in the area, especially a little more inland. I mean honestly the pasta wasn’t even “al dente” but the chef must have thought his food was too good that he didn’t have to make any small modifications like putting a different sauce outside of marinara on it. Overall glad we went to try some different Italian food in the area, but we won’t go back. There are to many other better place for the same price or even a little cheaper with much better service. One last note, the bread, the calamari, and table top Caesar salad was probably the best part of the meal, so if you’re looking for a lighter option with a good view, this may be the place to go.
