At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment. In addition to our menu, our chefs prepare a varied assortment of daily specials that always add an element of interest to our every-day offerings.

    Sushi was excellent. The filet mignon was also very good. The Caesar salad was less than appealing (that needs some work). Very please dining experience overall with nice views of the marina. Would definitely go back...but get the house salad!

    Loved our food order. Surf and turf was excellent. Red snapper and scallops was fantastic also. Love island Way Grill…

    In a single word? Meh. A 2pm Saturday lunch reservation for 4--we wanted to take out of town friends somewhere nice and on the water. The place was empty, the patio had maybe 8 tables seated. The upsides? (1) The waterfront view and outside area are terrific. And (2) the idea of the $22 fixed price menu is an excellent concept. But the downsides? (1) Cocktails are imperceptibly small for the price (and 1 of our party ordered a martini and the server asked if he wanted 'a single or a double'--for a martini? His answer: 'the glass should be full.' (2) Service was spotty at best. With very few tables, she was not very attentive to when we needed something. (Examples: When the meal was done and she had left the check, I had to go find her after 15 minutes to ring the bill out; I asked for coffee--twice--with dessert. I got it when the check was presented). (3) The food was--pedestrian at best. Overly salty lobster bisque...planked salmon with 'wasabi mashed potatoes' that have never once had wasabi within 10 miles of them...a respectable house salad drowned in dressing...and a 'chef's choice dessert' (translate, you do NOT get to choose which of the 2 options you get) that was an impossibly dry, unevenly cut brownie with (?) crushed peppermint candy on top. It's a shame because it's the first time we had been to Island Way Grill in about 20+ years. And most likely the last.

    Antonio was a wonderful server. I love the teamwork here. Such great service from everyone. Food is always great.

    From the valley to the hostesses to a fabulous young lady, Emily D, who served our party…the entire staff was warm, friendly, attentive and an all around pleasure. The food was its usual excellent quality and preparation. The pistachio crusted hogfish was excellent. The cedar plank salmon was prepared as requested…a touch shy of medium. And the sous vide double pork chop with a racer sauce was moist, tender and wonderfully flavorful. Island Way Grill is always a treat…and the bartender senses a generous pour!

    Was not impressed with food offerings. Other than carving station and shrimp, not a lot different than standard breakfast offerings at most motels.

    Always enjoy coming to Island Way Grill. It is one of my favorite places to eat. Our server Debi was attentive and friendly and provided great service. The food is always tasty and the variety of items available would meet the needs of any diner. Looking forward to returning soon.
