    We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We were seated along side the outer window that overlooked the water and loved it. We both had bone in ribeyes, different temps…both were cooked to perfection. We chose mac and cheese as a side, it comes topped with super thinly sliced fried onion rings which literally melted in our mouths. We also had the Brussels sprouts. They were good but not extraordinary. Enrique was an amazing server. One of the managers also showed us a lot of attention, so sorry I can’t remember her name because I wanted to thank her here. All in all very welcoming environment and customer centric employees. It was our first time here. If ever in the area again we’ll definitely return.

    Was our favorite restaurant… last few times we went there. The ambience is incredible. The view is outrageous. The greeting we received felt personalized and concerned about our wait… a whole 10 minutes (very acceptable) Our server not so much. Didn’t introduce himself when he first appeared. Felt very rushed and not concerned. My filet was not “best ever.” The best things were the sides… creamed corn and the baked potato. Sorry, maybe next time

    Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. Booked to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Was evident they were understaffed from the moment we sat down. Took circa 30mins before we received our drinks. Food was mediocre. Left feeling underwhelmed by the whole experience. Certainly didn’t live up to the reviews I’d read online prior to booking which raved about the food and service.

    Due to ridiculous traffic, we made a last minute birthday dinner reservation and everyone was so nice! Highly recommend the filet muffin trio.

    I was introduced to Island Prime over 15 years ago. I now live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I make it a point to always have one meal at Island Prime when visiting. The food is always to notch and my guests were impressed. Chris was out waiter and he went above and beyond. Looking forward to coming back in 2025.

    The restaurant has a beautiful view of the downtown and Coronado bridge skyline. Our server, Enrique was delightful along with the assistant Amir. One of the managers, Meagan, was engaged and concerned with our dining experience. She noticed we were not eating and wanted to make our dinner right. The punch and mai tai cocktails were well made and tasty. Appetizers Crab cakes and prawn cocktail. The prawns were large but the cocktail sauce was fairly bland. The crab cakes had the consistency of cornbread dressing with very little crab. Dinner Wagyu eye of the rib rib eye steak with shrimp and bone in rib eye with scallops. Sides ordered were macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. The steaks were slightly undercooked and lacked seasoning. The manager took them back to have the kitchen cook them to the right temperature. They were retuned at the right temperature with salt added on top of the steaks. The mashed potatoes had the consistency of instant potatoes and were extremely stiff. The mashed potatoes were not eaten. The macaroni and cheese was a bit dry with an off putting taste. Overall, we were extremely disappointed in the meal but the manager tried to make it right as best as possible with considerations on the bill. We appreciated the consideration in the bill however this is not a restaurant I could recommend.
