Located just off Grafton Street, Isabelle’s Restaurant & Bar guarantees delicious food, excellent cocktails & wine and professional, friendly service, every time. Our menu has been prepared with love, simple but packed full of flavour. We feature fresh ingredients, delivered daily by local suppliers, ensuring everything on our menu is fresh and utterly delicious. Whether you’re looking for a place to meet family for a leisurely lunch, a catch up with friends over dinner or to take a cocktail break from shopping, we look forward to welcoming you to Isabelle’s. Isabelle’s is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with brunch served every weekend and Bank Holiday Monday.

I would seriously take a look at your front of house staff - you only get one first impression and as the “face” of the restaurant and the first person you are greeted by, I found their demeanour to be abrupt, rude and condescending. A queue was left form at the door, when it was the next persons turn there was no greeting or welcome but a very firm “do you have booking?” When the answer was yes it was an even firmer “name?!” When it came to my turn and I had a booking, my party was already there and I gave my name after the two abrasive questions, he gestured towards the back of the restaurant while looking at his computer screen and said last booth on the left… When I was leaving the restaurant, the same front of house manager shouted down the restaurant repeatedly to a member of staff, whilst guests tried to enjoy their lunch. When he finally got the waiters attention half way down the restaurant while he remained stood at the front door, he condescendingly waved his finger at them to come to him. I meanwhile walked by and was greeted the same way I had when I arrived.. with silence. Honestly completely turned me off returning to a restaurant I’ve frequented many times with friends. In a time when people are feeling the pinch with the cost of living, to go and spend your hard earned money and be treated like an inconvenience by the most senior member of staff in the restaurant.. appalling.

The first thing I noticed was that the menus were very “tatty”. They need replacing.The food was fair. The menu is limited probably more suited if you like pizza. Service was good except the waiters were coming to the table too often. I got the impression that they wanted us to leave even though there was no pressure on table availability. The acoustics in the restaurant are not great making it difficult to hear at times.I would not go back.

Food was fine, not excellent but was okay. Menu limited and not sure why breakfast options (brunch) are available at 3pm. Confusing layout to enter the restaurant. Not allowed via South Anne St but other entrance obscured from view. Staff were attentive, friendly and polite. Price expensive for what it is, and expect better for the price. Unlikely to go back.

Hi Mike, Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate it. We’re sorry for any confusion regarding the entrance. Due to an unfortunate incident nearby, police had to close South Anne Street for most of the day, which impacted access. Our breakfast menu runs until 3 PM on weekends as there’s high demand, and we’re one of the few places offering it in the area. We understand menu variety and pricing are important, and we’ll take your comments on board as we continue to improve. The plate for my chicken burger was so small that few chips fitted on it (intentionally) No room to cut food. Very annoying.

Seated outside for 6pm reservation, no one came to check on our table once, not even for water. Left at 6:30 still not having been checked on once. Extremely poor service would not recommend.

Really disappointed with our meal this evening. We were at the front of the restaurant which was really cold. I sat on my hands to warm them up at one stage. Rib eye was only ok for what we paid. 7.50 for bacon and cheese fries, which came in a tiny bowl and seemed as if the cheese was added from a bottle, Waiter was really friendly and helpful. Disappointed with the rest of the experience.
