We have been there several times and brought 2 couples from out of town. Everyone loves the bacon appetizer and the bartender will figure out how to make any cocktail you like. Our waitress Jasmine was amazing. We will ask for her again.

Food and service was incredible. Unfortunately they allowed a big party group to stand amongst the other dining tables outside of the party room. They were extremely loud and distracting.

Went for lunch. Food was great, shared apps and entree for all of us. Server was really nice and service was quick.

We made a reservation for 6:30 and someone at the restaurant changed my reservation to 7:30. The restaurant was not busy! However, when we arrived earlier than 7:30, because I did not request that time and no one called to speak to me about it. I made the reservation 10 days in advance and it was CONFIRMED! The restaurant made my group that arrived before me feel uncomfortable and then I arrived and was pulled to the side to discuss the reservation. It was embarrassing to me and my group. The restaurant realized that someone there had changed the reservation without my permission. .

The food was pretty good but the service was not good. Very slow. Our waiter would come by our table and then disappear for 10 minutes or more. The Caesar salad was too salty but all of the other food was good. Prices seemed high for the quality and experience.

Guest 1 had the excellent Salmon. Guest 2 had the seafood special that they were happy with. Guest 3 had the rabbit recommended in the Birmingham Restaurant week special and she was most disappointed. The rabbit was boring and she had to work around a number of small bones. The desserts were ok but not memorable. The appetizer also recommended for the Birmingham Restaurant week was ok but skimped on the crab meat.

Wonderful lunch spot. Light open-air feel with low music playing. Food choices were numerous and delicious for lunch. The salmon with couscous and broccolini was very good…enough for a take home box for dinner. Our waiter brought two slices of birthday cake to share with a candle to blow out in celebration!! How nice and unexpected was that!!!! A large variety of wine selections and specialty cocktails. I hope to return for their dinner menu soon. Highly recommend Ironwood Restaurant in the lovely Valley Hotel in Homewood, Al.

Horrible food, good service. Steak tasted like garlic salt and had absolutely no pink in it after I asked for medium.
