Ironstone Grill serves up fresh and inspired dining amidst Ottawa’s premier championship golf course, The Marshes. Fresh, healthy and undeniably delicious food combined with a wonderfully inviting atmosphere make this a perfect place to dine before or after a game, or to just gather for the love of great food, family and friends.

Located on the main floor of our clubhouse, this stand-alone restaurant features exposed post-and-beam construction, magnificent stonework and a rugged fireplace. It’s a rich, open and warm atmosphere that’s ideally suited for enjoying a meal with friends or for post-game revelries you’d expect at a premier golf course.

                                Absolutely delicious food! My colleagues and I each had the strawberry salad with salmon for lunch and sat outside on the patio, where is lots of excellent shaded seating (a must for me!). Beautiful spot to enjoy a summer lunch or dinner.

                                Lovely patio. Nice staff but we were later in the brunch and food wasn’t quite so appealing. Cold on the “hot” trays. Coffee ran out (they brought us some but it took about 15 min), and for $35 per person… I guess I expected more. I’d go back for their regular menu. But not brunch.

                                The person in charge of omelet station was not skilled which resulted in a very low quality omelet. There was no bread in a brunch buffet which was quite surprising. No sugar, hot water, and tea at the coffee station. The waiters were trying their best. Our waiter was attentive but obviously they are not up to the task yet. The meals at the buffet were not fresh (e.g. chicken), the Belgian waffle was soggy and soft. There was no monitoring by a higher rank staff (manager or like) on items on the buffet in order to arrange for replenishment of items and looking after the quality of food.
