An Excellent Happy Hour Choice! We went to Iron Hill for Happy Hour at 4:30 pm on Monday, September 23. We began with 2 pints of Oktoberfest beer which were fresh and delicious - just what you'd expect from Festbier. Next we ordered the Bavarian soft pretzel from the regular menu and the chicken satay from the Happy Hour menu. The pretzel was hot and fresh and served with hot beer cheese and stone ground mustard. The beer cheese was mild while the mustard was spicy. Both were tasty accompaniments to the pretzel. The chicken satay turned out to be a grilled chicken breast sliced into strips. The strips were skewered to resemble satay. We asked for the spicy peanut sauce that was missing from the plate. The sauce was tasty, but brought to us cold from the refrigerator. Finally we ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and a single order of French fries from the Happy Hour menu. The sandwiches and fries were delicious and an excellent value.

The food was good. Service was a little slow and she needed to be reminded about some items. The restaurant was very noisy. I’ve eaten in other Iron Hill Breweries that did a much better job.

Service was good. Food was cold and unimpressive. Dined early, 5:00 so can't blame kitchen being overwhelmed. Overall meh.

Overall, good dining experience this evening. We sat on the patio, enjoyed the good weather. Turkey burger and green tomatoes were very good. Recommend the watermelon sour, Seedless.

If you get in there when Sparkle is working, REQUEST HER! You will not regret it. Her names says it all. But seriously we had a great experience with her. Probably one of the best experiences we have ever had at a restaurant. Point Blank. She made great recommendations and treated us like family. And the meals and beer did not fall short. You think you are getting a run-of-the-mill dinner but this place puts a surprise of flavor in each one.

Made reservation for inside but outside was open so got to sit outside on a beautiful day. The Octoberfest Lager was great!

We're regulars and will certainly remain so! My wife had a side of Sweet Potato Fries and tried both the Bourbon Vanilla Cream and Smoked Paprika Aioli...both absolutely delicious with the Bourbon Vanilla taking the prize! I tried the Country Schnitzel for the first time. Altho the cutlets really needed to be pounded much thinner, the accompanying andouille sausage, bacon & onion gravy was TERRIFIC! Was a it concerned the sausage would overpower, no way. Perfect blend.

There is plenty to choose from for everyone’s liking and everything I have personally had is outstanding and most of what our party has had is the same. Their Octoberfest menu, which is coming up, is absolutely wonderful and you ever go wrong on the beer, 👍👍
