Even with a reservation I had to wait 45 minutes to be seated while many other parties without reservations were seated before me. I had been waiting so long that other parties were actually asking the hostess whether they were going to seat me. It was clear that I was being repeatedly overlooked. After being seated, it was another 10 minutes before a server came by to take my drink order. They never returned to check on me after dropping off my food. No drink refills. Nothing. I don’t know what the issue was—it was busy but not overwhelmingly so. The only thing I can figure is that I was a solo diner so wasn’t seen as important. Overall, the service was terrible.

iron Hill never disappoints. Their large menu allows for everyone to have what pleases them. I had a large dinner salad with chicken and lots of fixins. My guests shared the lettuce wraps and fried green tomatoes. since it was early afternoon, we did not partake of any of the excellent beers available, but I have had them on other occasions and am always pleased. I was visiting with out- of-town family and we stayed at our table for quite a long time after we finished our meal, just chatting. But we were never rushed to leave, which was greatly appreciated. I come into Philadelphia by train and the proximity to Jefferson station always makes me consider Iron Hill and I will do so many times again

The server was very nice and attentive... but the restaurant needs to pay more attention to cleaning... it was kind of dirty... and not that busy. Our table had NOT been wiped down from the previous guest.. luckily I had wipes in my pocket. We had a direct view of the kitchen, which is open, and one of the cooks was eating at the same counter where he prepares the food... I did think that was appropriate. The food was OK... but not as good as previous visits. Their "Attention to Detail" has dissipated since the restaurants first opened.

This was a good place to hang out and relax. Good food choices. Great vibe when sitting at the bar. It has become a regular stop when I'm in Philly.

We had a late dinner and a nice time! The food was good (Brussels, Reuben, turkey burger) and the service was great - even with them being very busy. Large wine pours too.
