Food took nearly an hour and a half to arrive despite the restaurant being not that busy. Asked our server an allergy question and when he went to go check with the chef he didn’t come back for another 20 minutes- time that could have been spent eating our appetizer that instead sat there in case there was an allergen.

very poor welcome, no customer service. waitress not very attentive and helpful: she didn't bring water and we had to ask for it, she didn't notice that cutlery and napkins were missing and poor willingness to understand our needs. perhaps being foreigners is considered a nuisance and not as an opportunity to show other people your culture, kindness and helpfulness. I wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone

This was the first time visiting Iron Hill in the city and it was really enjoyable. The food and service were great and to my surprise there was a happy hour menu from 4-6pm with a good selection of beverages and appetizers to share. I also found that is was well lit and that I didn't feel like we were in a dark restaurant and completely unaware of the time. The noise level was not loud so we were able to chat without shouting when speaking. It's definitely a great place to frequent with friends for a catch up.

Even with a reservation I had to wait 45 minutes to be seated while many other parties without reservations were seated before me. I had been waiting so long that other parties were actually asking the hostess whether they were going to seat me. It was clear that I was being repeatedly overlooked. After being seated, it was another 10 minutes before a server came by to take my drink order. They never returned to check on me after dropping off my food. No drink refills. Nothing. I don’t know what the issue was—it was busy but not overwhelmingly so. The only thing I can figure is that I was a solo diner so wasn’t seen as important. Overall, the service was terrible.
