Food & Service were great! However, the floors in the building were extremely slippery to walk on, probably due to how they are being cleaned. They truly needed to put not slip mats down all over the place. It was a little harrowing and I saw several people struggling.

We’ve been here many times, but this last visit did not meet expectations based on our prior visits. Service was spotty, some details of the orders were missed, the beef in the French dip was somewhat meager. I believe the manager has changed and this just wasn’t up to snuff.

Iron Hill is consistently very good--the young man who was our waiter we great & very patient since I had 3 kids with me--the restaurant is well maintained--the food is delicious with good value--

The restaurant is on West Chester's Gay Street; every summer the city closes this section of Gay Street on weekends for restaurants to use as open space. That element of the ambiance was lovely, as we could stroll down the middle of the street and enjoy. Our server did a lovely job of explaining the options and answering all sorts of questions. I do not blame him for the long delay in food arrival (he reported that the brussels sprouts had just taken a really long time). One of us had the fish and chips. The fish part was outstanding, the fries seriously not impressive. The other created a veggie combo of 2 side dishes, the brussels sprouts and cauliflower with pesto. The sprouts were very dry, but combining them with the pesto made them rather good. Iron Hill Brewery's strength is its beer list. As we had miles to go before the end of the day, we did not partake. It was a bargain meal, all in all, and hit the spot for us that evening.

We have been eating at Iron Hill in West Chester since it opened 25 or so years ago. The service in always good and the food is very tasty. Many kinds of beer on tap and great bar service. It is nice for a small meal or a full dinner. There is always sports on the TV’s in the bar area or you can dine more quietly in the dining room area. We will be going back many more time in the future.

We visited on a quiet Tuesday night in July. I had the fish and chips. The beer battered fish had a nice crunch on the outside. The accompanying fries/chips were tasty as well with a crispy exterior and a tender inside. Service was good. Our server was delightful with a cheery attitude. We will be back.

the air conditioner was barely working so it was hot and humid. however our server, Bridgette, who we learned was new, was OUTSTANDING!!
