Waited 10 minutes to talked to waitress, 35 minutes to get a beer, 40 minutes to recive dinner Cheese puffs were terrible

the kitchen was very slow and our food came out at different times, our salads were not as ordered and were missing their cheese once we got everything it was fine but a rough road getting there

We arrived for our 6:30 reservation at 6:26pm (hostess said “I just texted you!”). When I turned to my husband and asked him quietly, “do you want to wait for a table outside?”, she interrupted “there’s nothing available.” Well, I hadn’t asked her, she interrupted, and really - it’s a Sunday, there were empty tables outside, and had I asked - you mean to tell me there isn’t an OPTION to wait for a table outside? I understand it’s dependent upon the status of the kitchen and servers, but perhaps if we’d have asked you (wait til we ask you, please do not insert yourself when I am speaking to my husband, not you). All of the restaurants in West Chester that are much smaller and privately owned will allow for a wait for a table outside. This is also noted upon making the reservation. This interaction with the hostess was rude. Our table was sticky. My son ordered Baja fish tacos, which he orders regularly - there used to be 3 served, now only 2. My husband had salmon and the portion was minuscule - likely a $5 piece of fish, but the entree is $24 here. Iron Hill is now ridiculously overpriced and dirty. There are far better places to eat in West Chester who will welcome you for your money.

Always good food and good value. We were initially seated in a booth for our party of six when there was a perfectly good round table set for six in the dining room. We had to request being reseated. Not a huge deal, but they knew we were coming.

Food & Service were great! However, the floors in the building were extremely slippery to walk on, probably due to how they are being cleaned. They truly needed to put not slip mats down all over the place. It was a little harrowing and I saw several people struggling.

We’ve been here many times, but this last visit did not meet expectations based on our prior visits. Service was spotty, some details of the orders were missed, the beef in the French dip was somewhat meager. I believe the manager has changed and this just wasn’t up to snuff.

Iron Hill is consistently very good--the young man who was our waiter we great & very patient since I had 3 kids with me--the restaurant is well maintained--the food is delicious with good value--
