My daughter is a junior at UD. For the past 2 years, every time we visit her at UD, Ironhill has been our go-to restaurant. This experience was completely opposite of what we have been used to. We were a party of 8 sat right at the loud entrance to the dining room. It was loud and very cold, as the wind from the wall AC unit blew right onto our heads. The most disappointing thing was the change in the menu and the quality of the food. The bun on the pulled pork sandwich was soggy. I received a total of 8 sweet potato fries for an additional charge?? On top of poor quality, our food was delivered in different waves, not at the same time. And this was after we had waited 30 minutes for our main course. Overall, we were so disappointed that we will be looking for a new favorite restaurant.

Very overwhelmed staff here on college drop off weekend. Felt bad for staff. Lots and lots of complaining customers. Out of so many beers. I love the iron hill chain but this one was having a rough night.

My server was excellent! The food was pretty good. Despite that I wouldn’t be a return customer. I clearly understand it’s a college town - but this restaurant should not be on OpenTable. It didn’t smell good inside and everything was sticky from the table to the floors. Please do a renovation to update and clean. Great location and potential. It’s not for lack of trying as I saw staff tending to clean and be orderly. It’s the actual restaurant and booths and table that had me wanting to leave even before I ordered. My plate was literally stuck to the table.

Haven’t eaten there in a number of years since I worked out of Glasgow Business Community. Still the same great food and drink, only now parking is difficult and you have to pay. Luckily, they reduced the bill by $2.00 to offset the cost of parking.

My son had went to the location in rehoboth beach and loved the service and the French dip. He wanted to go for his 21st bday so we did. Him and I got the French dip and it was ice cold. Was told they would remake it and manager would bring out fresh. We never saw a manager, no apology no nothing. Our waitress was nice and said she was sorry but her manager definitely had horrible customer service and hospitality. If the manager doesn’t support their staff then the staff would be better off somewhere else.

Very nice meal. The air conditioning is working which made it very pleasant. If you have been waiting for the repair to dine here, the wait is over.

Waited write some time for a server, finally the bartender came over (she was great). The air conditioning units all over were a bit disconcerting

Food was yummy. However - No AC and although the place was mostly empty, we were close to the kitchen. While outdoor temps were 76 and comfortable, close to the kitchen with no AC was not comfortable. Front doors were open. I’m sure that closer to the front of the restaurant would have been much better. Either way, in July and August they need to run AC. Food is too pricey to swelter. For $15+ apps and $10 beers, I expect to feel a little catered to. And that means comfort. I feel bad for the cooks for sure - it’s easily 20 degrees warmer at the grills. It’s not a turkey leg stand at the state fair. Also, one member of our party got everything later. With less than 25% of tables occupied, it wasn’t likely that it was too difficult to bring everything out together.

Just passing through town for the evening, we found this very pleasant, relaxing place with a nice menu, excellent beer, and decent wine selections.
