Food and drinks were great, service was great but as soon as we walked in this location we could smell a very unpleasant odor that just lingered and hung in the air. Next time we will go to the Wilmington location on the waterfront.

Not irons hill fault but the AC was out and it was too hot to eat in there, had to take the food to go, food was great!

We have eaten here many times, but this was a very disappointing visit. There were machines that I presume were drying out a leak or flood in the restaurant and we were seated next to a very loud smelly machine. Tables next to these machines should have not had customers seated as it was a very unpleasant experience. Our burgers were burnt to a crisp, and the bathroom was filled with flies and had a horrific moisture/water damage/mildew type odor. We ate and got out as soon as possible.

Mushroom Soup was cold and greasy. Chocolate tort was frozen and had no strawberry sauce or whipped cream. The table was sticky and grimy. The only good thing about the meal was the beer.

I went to Iron Hill to celebrate my son’s high school graduation. The air conditioning was broken and overall the restaurant was VERY dirty and ‘sticky’. The food was ‘fair/good’. Lunch was $150 including the tip for 5 people. Not worth it given the cost. I’m not planning to go back.

This is one of my fav restaurants in Newark and I was kind of shocked of how I was treated by the host. Got there around 7:05 reservation was for 7:15 .. there was a big group of like 16 ppl was behind us that ran to the host first which i didn’t care but they got seated before me and they didn’t have a reservation. When I asked the host why I haven’t been seated she gave an attitude and walked away and then another young lady came and seated us. Other than that waiter was great and food was great but didn’t like I was treated by the host or whoever she was!
