Annabelle at the front desk was very nice and personable when I called to say we were going to be 14 mins and adjusted our reservation time. We were placed beside the kitchen (4 of the group of 5) are over 70 so not the best seats. The food (4 burgers, 1 turkey burger) wasn’t good. The food was served warm and the volume of French fries was skimpy, pickles on two plates but not on two others. Other servers gave us our food not the server who took our order. The food wasn’t served after it was cooked - we waited 30 mins for it - it was left sitting. Again food wasn’t good. The back of the restaurant needs a facelift. The carpets are old, the floors toward the bathrooms slicky.

Arrived in time for Happy Hour and took advantage of specials. Iron Hill has been very hit or miss, but this was a good night.

Food, drink, and especially the service were excellent! The server thought several steps ahead to keep us on track with our tight timeline while still being engaging, friendly, and quick. The only possible downside was that a speaker right above our booth was overly loud for normal conversation - and we're far from being seniors!

Our server was absolutely delightful. We were a little pressed for time and she got us out of there very efficiently.

Great experience tonight. Daughter was happy they had root beer; previous visit they were out. Jason, our server was attentive and the evening was a success.

IRON HILL - Media Location: Dined there last night, been probably 3-4 years since I had last been there. Unfortunately the place needs some serious TLC. For the prices they charge you would expect top notch but nope. Let's start with decor. The entire restaurant looks the same since my last visit and probably hasn't been refreshed in 7-10 years. From the worn out sticky tables, old dingy carpeting, nicked and scraped walls, and dirty entryway it's clear TLC is missing. As for the service, our server was decent and somewhat attentive but did spill a tray of drinks, and got splashed since I was on end of booth and didn't fill any water glasses. As for the food, for the prices they charge versus what you get, not that great. Calamari App was $16 and more tempura fried veggies than actual calamari. Wife had the turkey burger and the bun looked like a cheap potato roll not to mention the sweet potato fires that were as thick as Lincoln logs. Mom had the french dip and that roll looked stale as it crumbled when she ate it, the au jus that came with the sandwich had some weird flavor to it. Only saving grace food wise was the fish and chips my son and uncle had. Lastly had 2 beers. The Lemon Cerveza was delicious but the pale ale was meh. Lastly gone are the days of free bread/rolls, they actually now charge you for it since it's now a menu item. Final Recap - 2 beers, 4 Non-alcholic drinks, 1 app, 5 entrees - $147 before tip (and before you ask, tipped 18%) . At almost $30/head there are MANY better options in Media as well as Delco. Won't be heading back to Iron Hill anytime soon.
