Originaire de la côte est du Maryland, le chef Anthony Chittum a gagné sa réputation non seulement pour sa cuisine, mais aussi pour son engagement à s'approvisionner dans un réseau d'agriculteurs, de pêcheurs et d'artisans alimentaires locaux.     The food was sublime. The service was excellent. The wine pairings were perfect. The semifreddo was ridiculously good. Loved the warm, cozy ambiance. We will definitely be back.

    Service was discouragingly poor. Drink orders came after appetizers, our server was absent most of the time - we had to order through the person who delivered the food who complained that he was struggling to keep up. Very challenging for a business lunch where service was important.

    WE HAD THE RESTAURANT WEEK MENU. i WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD THE AMISH CHICKEN, WHICH WAS GROSSLY OVERCOOKED, TOUGH AND CHEWY. I THINK THE OTHER MAIN COURSES WERE FINE. SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD AND SITTING NEAR THE FIREPLACE WAS WONDERFUL.

    Discovered Iron Gate through social media. It was described as a cozy date night and that’s exactly what it was! It was comfy, cozy and cute. The service was incredible and consistent as we interacted with many. For just the 2 of us, we did the family style and the food was delicious! Would recommend and would come back!

    Enjoyed a delicious meal while celebrating a birthday. There was so much food with the family tasting menu that we had to get the desserts to go!

    Neighborhood gem. Loved ambiance. Corner seating for two not in view of fireplace. Waitstaff not spot-on. After food presented, no spoon for soup appetizer. No check-in at our table by waiter. Had to flag to be attended. Irrespective of poor service, as we were non drinkers and low tab, left generous 25% tip. I will attempt a booking again in spring and choose outside seating.

    The food was really good. We did the family table tasting menu, and everything they brought out was delicious. I really liked the oysters. They brought out more dishes than was on the menu. Each of the main dishes had a pre-dish attached to it, including dessert. The service was great; our waitress was super helpful and friendly. The ambiance was very romantic, and the dining area was fairly quiet and calm, so you don't feel the need to shout and can enjoy a nice, relaxing meal with somebody. We enjoyed sitting near the fireplace. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would go there again. One last thing, the tasting menu was reasonably priced with the amount and quality of food you're getting.
