Originaire de la côte est du Maryland, le chef Anthony Chittum a gagné sa réputation non seulement pour sa cuisine, mais aussi pour son engagement à s'approvisionner dans un réseau d'agriculteurs, de pêcheurs et d'artisans alimentaires locaux.     Always delicious food. Vegetarian friendly. Big list of mocktails. Try the Laverna & Shirley. Great friendly staff. Love this place esp when it is warm enough to sit on the lovely terrace. Today was a fireplace day. So cozy.

    I request to be inside but was placed outside. My mom ordered a scotch and it took 1/2 hour to get one. Food was coming out too fast for a tasting. My wines were not brought with each meal. I have had much better service at a chain restaurant.

    The food was absolutely SPECTACULAR. Overall amazing experience, with wonderful service and a beautiful restaurant, this place cannot be beat. Some of the best short rib I’ve ever had. The focaccia is also a do not miss.

    The food was very good. I was a little surprised that the food was cooked in blended oils and not just olive oil which is usually standard in Mediterranean restaurants. That itself did make one of the party have stomach pain after. Otherwise, the restaurant is in a beautiful space, service was great.

    Amazing! Absolutely Incredible! As someone with with many allergies--including pepper, anything spicy, dairy, red spices, ginger, vinegar, wine, beer, champagne, olives, walnuts, kidney beans, kiwi, pineapple, eggplant, just to name a few--it can be extremely difficult to find places, especially in new cities, where I am able to eat the same caliber of beautiful food as everyone else. As a standard, I do my best to advise restaurants at least a week in advance about my allergies and carry allergy cards with me. I am aware that many find my list daunting and have a hard time creating accommodations, and I am, unfortunately, frequently left with boiled chicken or tasteless veggies. This was NOT my experience at Iron Gate! From the start, The Iron Gate team welcomed me. The hostess helped me to my seat in a beautiful patio and put before me an individualized menu--printed earlier that day--designed to accommodate my allergies. Delightful greetings and menu elaborations were followed by beautiful, textured, flavorful food with unique, innovative drink pairings. The service was stellar--attentive, responsive, generous, and warm--as was the overall vibe and atmosphere. Deep gratitude to everyone in front and back of the house who contributed to this unforgettable experience. I look forward to visiting again!!

    My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Iron Gate. Despite the restaurant being short-staffed, we were incredibly lucky to have Darian, the sommelier, as our waiter for the evening. His warm personality, quick wit, and charisma made our night even more enjoyable. The service was outstanding, and his expertise added a special touch to our dining experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening and highly recommend Iron Gate—especially if you have the pleasure of being served by Darian!

    Cool space, that’s about it. Food was not very good at all and overpriced. The waiter never bothered to get my son’s entree order. We barely swallowed what we did order because it was not great. Can think of better ways to spend $100!
