Another impromptu visit to our local. Lovely meal, as always. The pea & mint arancini starter is delicious as is the chicken and parpadelle pasta. The staff are always polite, free& helpful too.

My friend and I had four small plates to share. They were all delicious and well presented. We will definitely be visiting again.

Overall very good, I had the steak with chips which was very tasty although slightly pricey at 30 quid for what you actually got but cooked to perfection so not overly bothered. Atmosphere and service top notch. Well worth a visit with lovely views over the beach below.

A joint birthday celebration with best friends. Friendly and polite staff & great food as always. The service between courses was a little slower than usual but it was busy and, to be fair, it was nice to have some time to let each course settle.

Our local pub so not our first visit. We requested a quiet table as we had a dog with us and we had the perfect booth table. The food was great, the pork belly bites & wild mushrooms on toast for starters were delicious as were the steak & ale plus the chicken & ham hock pies were outstanding (no soggy bottoms lol) with lovely fresh veggies. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Downderry.

We booked the supper club offer menu online for a Wednesday evening as advertised on their website but was disappointed when we arrived and was told they no longer do it. Take it off the website then! Having said that the food was good and the views are lovely.

The restaurant is well set out, in that you do not feel squashed together and the views overlooking the sea were superb. The food was good quality and plentiful but it took over 2 hours for us to be served main courses and desserts. The problem was, I think, due to the upgraded till/ordering system I look forward to returning and hope that the service will be quicker next time

Beautiful location , great food with good service if a little slow with the desert. We chose the Roast sirloin for Sunday lunch and would recommend it .

The view is outstanding and whilst we couldn't sit outside as it was a little breezy for my elderly parents, we still had a table inside with a beautiful view. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff. She came back and took a drinks order and then our food order, she explained that everything was cooked fresh to order so it would be approximately 20/30 minute wait but we were happy to chat and admire the view. When rhe food arrived we were extremely happy, fish and chips had crispy batter and proper chips, rhe chicken pasta dish my Mum sais was very lovely and we had the lamb, which looked amazing and my son said was really good and the trout, which my Dad thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were attentive, the food was lovely and the view outstanding, what would there be to not like.
