Come enjoy the finest dining experience in the Finger Lakes! From our food to our service we guarantee you will leave looking forward to your next visit. Enjoy a cocktail next to one of our firepits with a gorgeous view of Cayuga Lake or sit next to the two-story outdoor fireplace. This historic Victorian mansion has spectacular views overlooking Cayuga Lake. We use a variety of local, fresh ingredients in our dishes all carefully designed and curated by Executive Chef Clem Coleman and his talented team. We are pleased to offer a diverse menu and daily specials. Inn at Taughannock Falls is located just seven miles from Ithaca, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. A very pleasant evening with friends. Great service, and everything, from soup, salad, to entree, delicious. The clam chowder with shrimp was a novel preparation!

The views and grounds are beautiful. The inside feels like a country club from the 80’s. Very stuffy and outdated. The service was slow but pleasant. The burrata appetizer was good, but portion was small. Only one out of 6 liked their main meal. The halibut had a giant serving of dry rice that took up most of the plate and the eggplant was dry and not cooked enough. The pesto too garlicky . Not sure if I would go back. Disappointed

Really disappointing. Took 45 minutes for our cocktails to arrive, and they forgot the bourbon! They acknowledged it when we showed them. Entrees then arrived 1.5 hours after we ordered and they were cold. Likely sitting a while waiting to be delivered. Cold steak :( but it was after 10pm at this point and we had no time to sit and wait for a remake. Beautiful spot, unable to keep up with demand. Also a very weird bad body odor smell in the lobby that everyone in our group commented on.

I believe our waiter’s name was David, and he was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the history of the inn and he took time to share about it with me and my party. He also provided insight into the dishes and drinks and connected with us all and made the evening very enjoyable. I would love to come back again and recommend it to anyone; definitely ask for David too!

We had a nice table in a beautiful setting, fresh flowers on the table and a great waiter. I had the Branzino which came out bizarrely off the menu description- overcooked, tough and very spicy. We hope the chef had an off night or if he didn’t, may have been trained at the State diner. Our waiter was outstanding and quickly offered a substitute entree in the salmon which was ok but also off the menu description. My wife’s halibut though was very good. The rest of the meal was fine and wonderful ambience and service. Hopefully they can get the kitchen straightened out. Would still recommend for a nice evening out.

It was a perfect dining experience for our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely table overlooking the park and Cayuga Lake. Our waitress was amazing and our meal delicious.

We went to inn at Taughnnock for an Anniversary dinner and were very pleased with not only the food but also the wait staff and the atmosphere. Derrick was very helpful in choosing what we might like and had a great personality as well. All the staff were very friendly and we couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant evening.

We two and our 2 out of towners had a lovely dinner. The restaurant was quite empty and there was a wedding happening outside. Even so, staff was attentive, lovely ambiance and the food was excellent.

Colleen is the BEST SERVER EVER!! She is always so attentive, hospitable and professional. We ALWAYS request her to be our guide through the amazing menu and she never disappoints. Can’t wait to come back and see her again and enjoy the wonderful ambience, service and food!
