Inspired by one of the earliest civilizations in ancient history, the Indus Valley, the Indian fine dining concept will honor creating food for pleasure rather than simply sustenance, as the Indus people pioneered by being one of the first to blend and combine spices for flavoring.

HONESTLY, the BEST Indian food we have ever eaten. The selection of items was amazing. The presentation, taste and atmosphere OUTSTANDING. The owners, husband and wife - Ajit and Sukhu - could not have been any nicer or friendlier. Their welcoming attitude and environment made us feel special. They have put their hearts and souls into making Indus Progressive Indian restaurant an experience like no other. The Bloody Mary, Masala Dosa, Mamma’s Cholle, Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Poori and Naan ALL mouthwateringly delicious AND the pièce de résistance was the braised Lamb Shank Curry - OMG, the meat just fell off the bone and when Ajit told us all about where his Lamb Shanks come from - it was completely understandable, Fresh and Organic from Australia. PLEASE do not miss this place. We saw it on NBC’s “The Food Guy” and we had to try it and we are now SOLD on it and will be regulars. THANK YOU for coming to the Highland Park community. You ROCK!!!

Food is very innovative and flavorful. Service is amazing. Owner came over to check up on us. He was very gracious and friendly. The bathroom murals are colorful and spacious. We went for brunch but the dinner menu looks amazing. we'll defitely return to try that!

Met and exceeded all expectations. The staff and owners are present, joyful and welcoming. Exceptional food and warmth. We will be regulars!

Outstanding food and beverage. Minor niggles: very bright lights, beautiful, large serving dishes-very small tables. Plenty of parking if you know where to look (underground lot across the street.)

The food is very good, really fun menu well executed. The service is really kind, but could step up a bit more, but the place just opened and I’m sure they’ll improve as they go. They could soften the house lights down a bit as well to improve ambience. Small tweaks both. We’ll definitely be back often.

What this restaurant lacks in experience in makes up in flavor and effort. The food and cocktails were delicious and the staff attentive, cordial, and well versed in the cuisine and offerings. So excited to have this gem of an option in our neighborhood. We’ll definitely be back!
