Delicious food-- describing it as modern or progressive Indian food is really apt. Favorites were the eggplant, lentil & cauliflower sides and the brisket. My partner really enjoyed the garlic naan which was super garlicky!

We absolutely love Indus! This was our second visit and it went much smoother service wise. Our first visit was shortly after opening. The food is excellent! Each dish is flavorful with an interesting twist on it to make it upscale unique. We moved here from the DC area where Indian food was plentiful and this is our favorite

Incredible food. We had the samosas, the pork vindaloo, and the brisket masala. Each one was outstanding. Service was friendly but maybe a person too few. It was pretty hard to get a/our server’s attention but maybe because we were in the far back of the restaurant. Finally, not a big deal but for dinner they should turn the lights down a bit - it was very bright, which slightly cheapens the experience.

Outstanding, excellent food! Standouts were eggplant, cauliflower, brisket, saag paneer. We will be regulars after this first visit!

First time at the restaurant and it was great. A step up from traditional Indian fare. Hats off to Ajit and his wife. A terrific addition to downtown Highland Park. Can’t wait to return!

Delicious upscale Indian food with great service and attention to detail in presentation and taste. Owner came to each table to make sure we were pleased with our dinner. Knowledgeable server, well paced service. Loved the pork masala. Portions very sizable. Will be back.

May be the best quality Indian cuisine in our Chicago area combined with a wonderful wine list at relatively low prices …. We will continue dining here and always try to bring friends…

Indus Progressive hits in on all cylinders. Outstanding, distinctive food, combined with exceptional service and a cool atmosphere makes for a wonderful dining experience. The proprietary interest that the owners take in making sure that their guests are happy makes it even more special. This one is a "ten out of ten".
