What an amazing meal! The passion from the owner (who was also our waiter) was obvious and genuine, and the quality of everything we had was… well, we were both trying to think of a better Indian meal that we have had, and we’ve been to a 5 star resort in India! The spice level was medium to hot; don’t go there if you like your spice mild. Everything tasted so authentic and crafted, and we would be back in a heartbeat! Our new fave restaurant in Brum! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the Indian small plates and the food was a bit different and absolutely superb. Very tasty, spicy and quite hot. I loved the jazz music they were playing it’s just a shame it competed with the loud pop music from the pub. I wish we lived closer so we could go again to try more dishes. Absolutely brilliant.

Indian Cafe Racer always excellent. Very good service and the crab cakes had just the right level of spice. Lamb and chickpea dishes both excellently executed again. Any fan of Indian or Asian fusion food who ignores it because it is hidden in the back of a pub is missing out.

Fantastic hidden resturant, in the rear of The Wellington Pub. Great welcome, attentive, helpful staff. Food was delicious.
