Indian Affair showcases North Indian cuisine cooked Dilli-style. It’s inspired by the city’s diverse flavours and home-style cooking. Whilst the dishes on our menu can be found across North India, the way of cooking is specifically from the Delhi region which makes it truly unique.

The carefully curated menu aims to reflect the traditional and modern sides of Delhi and presents some of our most loved dishes.

For us Dilli is an emotion and is perfectly summed up by the famous saying “Dilli dil waalon ki,” Delhi belongs to the big-hearted!

The service is very good, polite and efficient. Bit disappointed with the poppadoms, cold and the smaller ones looked like they came out of a ‘Walkers’ bag. The chutneys were nice though. The Samosa starter was good, although a single, smallish samosa seemed a bit minimal for the cost. My partners spinach fritter was more fritter (batter) than spinach and was covered in a sweet, cream of some kind which was a bit over powering. We had the lamb shank and the beef curry as mains. The lamb shank was tender,, the sauce maybe an aquired taste, the beef was rich, spicy and I really enjoyed it. Best bits - the beef curry, the service and the Samosa.

The food overall was very nice and some great deep flavours. All slightly spicier than needed to be. Servers were friendly but for a small restaurant it felt a bit chaotic with food couriers coming in and out and lots going on. Don’t get me wrong this was on the whole a positive experience x

This was our first time at Indian Affair and we very much enjoyed the food, ambience and friendly service. Delicious flavours with plenty of depth featured across everything we selected, and the staff took time to explain some of the marinading techniques used in this particular style of Indian cuisine. We focused on the starters and shared a delicious lamb biryani, but think that next time we might go for a couple of main courses instead as those we saw on the next door table looked very tasty! I tried a very good non-alcohol cocktail and they surprised my husband with a ball of vanilla ice-cream with a candle on top to celebrate his birthday - a very nice touch!

The food was excellent bur expensive Sheek Kebab Starter for £9 were poor value for the money paid they serve 2 only with some raw red onion and we're quite small Makakani Chips were a Very small portion and very expensive and wish the Lamb Biryani Had more Sauce compared to traditional Indian Restaurants value for money non existent

A really good meal, with a contemporary slant on Indian food. We ate on a Sunday evening, which was very quiet, so more folk would have added to the atmosphere. The only reason this wasn't 5 stars was that, of the 3 starters, one came out significantly after the other 2 with no explanation. But would definitely visit again.
