Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks. The wine list is focused on affordable Italian varietals, the Gin & Tonic cocktail is on tap, and the fresh sodas are made in-house. Large windows fill the restaurant with natural light that reflects off the white subway tile, wood accents and butcher block tables. An open kitchen invites guests to keep an eye on the action while enjoying the sights and smells of Italian cooking. During warmer months, a 44-seat patio invites guests to dine al fresco.

Indaco in Charlotte, NC, offers a delightful brunch experience that truly stands out. Upon entering, the vibrant atmosphere sets the tone for a leisurely meal, enhanced by the attentive service that makes you feel welcomed. The cocktail selection is impressive, with creative options that perfectly complement the brunch menu. One of the highlights was the breakfast pizza, which was nothing short of amazing — a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The burrata appetizer was equally impressive, creamy and rich, making it a must-try for any cheese lover. For the main course, the pappardelle with bolognese was exceptional. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. However, the burger fell short of expectations. It was underseasoned, dry, and barely warm, which detracted from the overall dining experience. Overall, Indaco is a fantastic spot for brunch, with great cocktails, a lively atmosphere, and standout dishes like the breakfast pizza and pappardelle. Just be cautious when ordering the burger!

amazing! went to celebrate a birthday and they made it so personal! gave my boyfriend a gift and comped the dessert as well as an entree! very great service and really made it special!

We enjoyed our experience at Indaco. It was our first time, and it didn't disappoint. Michael was friendly and made several delicious recommendations. We had the burrata, branzino, potatoes, and warm olives. The burrata was my favorite! The expresso martini was one of the best I've had in Charlotte. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Place looks nice, food is really good and fairly priced. The place is packed so a little noisy and slows down the service too. The servers are very nice and sweet but the speed could be improved, as well as the attentiveness.

My husband and I love Indaco for a nice date or just a casual happy hour at the bar. This was my first time trying their brunch with a friend and I thought it was fabulous, the menu had some different choices and the burrata with grilled watermelon was wonderful. Our waitress offered to move us inside once the heat became sweltering outside, which was much appreciated. Hannah & Micah behind the bar are always great, too!

Great conversation with Renate. salmon special was very good and the parpadelle CAB bolognese. Ordered artichoke and crispy brussel sprouts and both are delicious. We have another reservation next week when we get back from our trip.

Indaco was a great experience for my girlfriend and I. We celebrated our one year anniversary and the place was perfect. The food tasted amazing and the price was perfect for the food and service. It was a blend of fancy and affordable that we were looking for. We really enjoyed the place and will be going again in the future.

It was my first experience at Indaco and it truly exceeded my expectations. I was celebrating my 40th birthday with 3 other girlfriends and the staff had set up a little table decoration for me. Not only that, I received a birthday gift as well. It was such a nice gesture. Our server was attentive and food was delicious with large portion sizes! The pappardelle pasta dish was perfect. We also were surprised with an extra pasta dish and a birthday dessert. It was overly amazing and the staff made me feel so special. Thank you and we will for sure be back! My girlfriends said we’re making indaco our future birthday celebration spot!
