Des saveurs italiennes authentiques remplissent un espace moderne et spacieux, souligné par la peinture à la chaux, les briques blanches, les billots de boucherie blonds et les suspensions couleur argent. Une ancienne pelle à pizza datant des années 1850 est accrochée au mur, témoignant de l'engagement d'authenticité de l'Indaco. Le restaurant propose une sélection de cocktails artisanaux avec des classiques italiens tels que le Negroni et l'amaro à la pression, ainsi que des sodas italiens maison. Ce concept introduit la cuisine italienne traditionnelle sur la scène gastronomique florissante du quartier de l'Upper King. D'une superficie de 269 m², l'Indaco dispose de 100 couverts, bar et terrasse inclus.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Faisant partie du prolifique Indigo Road Hospitality Group, Indaco est une institution de la cuisine italienne traditionnelle. Le restaurateur Steve Palmer, demi-finaliste du James Beard, a ouvert l'établissement originel à Charleston en 2013 avant d'en ouvrir quatre dans le sud des États-Unis. Le secret de cette réussite ? La pizza margherita cuite au feu de bois, les tagliatelles fraîches ornées d'un jaune d'œuf et les negroni maison à la pression, le tout servi dans un espace rustique aux tables en billots de bois et aux briques blanchies à la chaux.

The pork chop appeared to be a pork tenderloin. It was well seasoned, but overcooked. My wife's chicken was prepared well, but uninspiring Many people were ordering their meatballs and pizza. Both of those looked good. If we go back, that's what we would order.

Dinner was great! Mocktails & Cocktails out of this world. And hands down the pizza is a must! Meatballs & roasted potatos are perfect sides. Server was great!

A Perfect Evening at Indaco – Exceptional Italian Cuisine in Charleston Indaco in Charleston exceeded all expectations with an unforgettable dining experience. Brittany took exception care of us all night with a wonderful wine selection. From start to finish, every dish was a masterpiece, showcasing fresh ingredients, expert preparation, and bold flavors. We began with the burrata salad, which was beautifully balanced—creamy burrata paired with ripe tomatoes, a drizzle of high-quality olive oil, and a touch of balsamic that brought everything together. Next came the calamari, perfectly crispy yet tender, accompanied by a bright and zesty dipping sauce that kept us coming back for more. For the main course, we indulged in a variety of offerings. The pizza was a standout—wood-fired to perfection with a blistered crust, rich tomato sauce, and just the right amount of cheese and toppings. The pork loin was cooked to juicy perfection, served alongside a flavorful accompaniment that complemented its richness. The agnolotti, delicate pasta pillows filled with a luscious filling, were coated in a velvety sauce that made every bite a delight. To end on a sweet note, the cannoli dessert was simply divine—crispy fried donuts with smooth, lightly sweetened ricotta and a hint of citrus that elevated the flavors. The ambiance at Indaco was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch—attentive without being intrusive. Whether you’re a local or visiting Charleston, Indaco is a must-visit for anyone craving exceptional Italian cuisine. We can’t wait to return!

Had an amazing time! It was my daughter’s 22nd birthday and they had a card on table wishing her the best of everything. Food was amazing. Our waiter was attentive and very professional. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.
