Imad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

Small menu but good choice of vegetarian and meat options. Unfortunately my friend has a tomato allergy and most dishes had tomato or were marinated in tomato paste so she was limited in her options, staff were extremely helpful and accomadating. Good experience and a great place to check out.

Great delicious food and authentic too. I think though that the pitta bread should come standard with the dips like other Arab restaurants. Otherwise great place and great food

The place is great my family liked it and the Shish Tawouk was great. It was 24 June 2024 and the restaurant has no air conditioning and it was hot inside. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Fabio was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The other staff were also very kind & attentive. We loved the food, and the decor - especially sat by the window - was beautiful. Will return.

Excellent food at a great venue. Syrian meze at it’s finest. The staff are super friendly, and the food&drinks were served very quick, even though the restaurant was full. Overall a great experience - definantly going back.

We had seen Imad on BBC Saturday Kitchen and thought that we would like to try his food, and we were not disappointed. It’s a fantastic setting with a delightful ambiance, the staff were friendly, attentive and engaging. The food was really tasty and delicious, with generous portions at reasonable value. This was our first time at this restaurant and we can’t wait to go there again. We loved it and would highly recommend that you try it.
