Très petites portions . Bon mais sans plus. Quelques plats trop salés . Un peu décevant pour le prix. Excellent service N’y retournerez pas

Good inventive food with generous wine pairings and excellent service. The choreography of the meal was off — it took way too long for the first dish to come out. The food was a bit uneven — the stand-out was perfectly-cooked pork. But a tartare appetizer was flavorless and flat.

Expensive for what we’ve got. Wines in the food & wine pairing were ordinary. We did not have any “wow” effect. Service was very good.

Everything was excellent and unique. Couple of things that I would do differently is to advise patrons of how much wine will cost ( we were offered excellent choices but didn’t find out the price until the bill came). It was affordable for us, but others may not be. Also, price for tasting menu (which is the only choice) was not listed anywhere either. Music was a bit loud, but that didn’t seem to bother anyone. Overall, excellent and we will be back. Our waiter/sommeiler was absolutely great!

Un service impeccable, très certainement un des meilleurs staff qui nous a servi. Et les plats parfaits comme d'habitude.

Very nice ambiance and excellent and friendly service. The tasting menu began with a delightful picnic dish - the bread was delicious. This was followed by a fish dish with an amazing beurre blanc sauce. Beef tartare came next, a dish with great texture, but for me a little too acidic. The chefs take on poutine was a little one dimensional and very rich far a tasting menu. The savoury courses closed with a very pretty plate of duck, crispy hash brown, beetroot and a series of condiments. The flavour combinations were lovely, but my duck was unfortunately overcooked and a little tough. The menu closed with two decadent desserts. The first a palate cleanser, although felt like a dessert-proper. The final dish, the restaurants name sake ile flottante was delicious, but after 6 hearty dishes was a bit of a struggle. Everything was served with a smile and a wealth of information, particularly the wines, which were excellently paired with each dish.

From start to finish this place was an amazing experience. The reservation was well managed and we were greeted promptly at the door. The waiter then walked us through the plan for the set menu, checked our food and allergy preferences, and then got to the business of bringing out the successive courses. Each course was delectable, complex, beautifully presented, and in a word - yummy. We had to refrain from licking the plates. We had an amazing dinner and had to check whether the place was Michelin guide listed because it was comparable to one star restaurants that we had been to before. It was certainly worth it.
